Take a bReak from the friendship. You are fueling FT's fire.

This has happened to one of my children, and she got over it. I'm sorry you seem to be losing your friend, and it's painful to be displaced by a person you don't like, but it happens, it's life, and you have to find other friendships.

FWIW, I'm someone who takes a very long time to make friends, and when I do make them, I don't like to let go of them. But the clock on some friendships runs out, and when that happens, there's nothing you can do, but say to yourself, it was fun while it lasted, feel sad for a little while, and then move on with your life.

Thanks pp. I know my situation is juvenal but a reality just the same.

For the love of God would you please stop misspelling the word JUVENILE. Now do you ever hope to climb that social ladder if you can't spell.

Got it. Processing too much at once.

I'm wavering between thinking you're a whack job and sympathizing because a psycho woman inserted herself into my social group a while back. I let it go and one by one she alienated everyone, ending with a huge flameout where she emailed the remaining people who tolerated her that she was "concerned" that the main person she had originally latched on to was a meth addict (not the least bit true).

Yes, this. Oh my god you sound insufferable. I totally sympathize with FT!

Oh geez. I expected your friend was like Robert Chambers, stealing silverware from dinner parties. (I'm probably dating myself here with the RC reference.)

I couldn't read through the entire complaint. I found myself nodding off until I woke up suddenly, worried about my impending divorce, money problems, my sick relative, my children, the cost of gas, the presidential election . . . .

Well, I'm sorry. I'm really not trying to be mean. Maybe you should try to volunteer somewhere so you can let go of some of this stuff????????

Co-dependent relationship between two very shallow women.

I'm calling troll on OP. Very creative though. I like your long posts with way too many strange details. Try for a little more realistic next time. Thanks, love reading them.

Oh the drama of seventh grade! But it does get better.

This response is completely overused and unoriginal. Lame.

That was the opposite of a pithy post! But it was certainly vapid.

I love all the dramatic "choices" she makes though, and all the "space" she's giving people and how she's "letting" the FT reign.

It's like a poorly written episode of Desperate Housewives.

I don't think you can use the phrase "pps" in the first post of a thread, it refers to "previous posters" and there were not any previous as you were the OP!!

I had trouble getting through the whole post-does anyone have information about the FT organization the OP mentioned? I've never heard of it. TIA.

I don't think you have a good grasp of what "pithy" means. You were dead on with vapid, though.
