Didnt you forget to mention you were waitlisted for Janney and Anacostia Elementary? |

To me that says the WL list schools knew the child would be accepted at the more competitive schools and didn't think they'd actually take the spot. St. Pats in particular is known for doing this. |

Hey, it happens! My kid got into GDS but not Janney for PreK. Years back, but we were inbounds. |

Happened to us in regards to St Pats. Accepted PK @ GDS (1st choice) - WL at St. Pats. Heard St Pats was aware of our other application. Wonder if admissions folks trade a little info.... |
