I think I can top all of you. Love Song by Tesla.

I also really like Let Her Cry by Hootie and the Blowfish...but it is not even in the same league as the embarresment that is Tesla.

Umm, whoever said Third Eye Blind is my hero. I would NEVER admit to liking them but it's so darn catchy!

And Sweet Caroline is one of my favorite songs. Probably for the memories.

Oh, and I LOOOOVE Journey.

And Sugarland Stuck Like Glue. Except that weird reggaeish part. But the rest I always secretly crank.

what? this thread is about stereotypically bad song. How is this a bad song?

It's probably not that bad, but, like all Christmas songs, it just gets a little tiresome when played over and over again. But, you're right, it doesn't get as tiresome as many other holiday tunes, and, it's certainly not in the same category as, say, "Little Drummer Boy", which is saccharine and awful right from the first "rum-pa-pum-pum". Actually, quite a few of the songs people are posting aren't terrible at all, just embarrassing for anyone over 13 to admit to liking ("Party in the USA"), or overplayed ("Someone Like You" -- the Adele song, not the Rod Stewart song), or great instrumentally, but with truly awful lyrics ("Papa Was a Rolling Stone"), or -- vice-versa -- just meh instrumentally, but with clever lyrics ("Teen-Age Dream" or "Last Friday Night").

DH loves rap, the harder the better. He is a 38 yo white guy, picture the scene from office space
He loves party in the USA and he had no idea it was Miley Cyrus! He was pretty embarassed when our kids and I found out he loved it so much!
So much for the tough guy...

I'm Too Sexy (for my shirt, my car, my dog, etc.)
The Lemonaid Mouth soundtrack
ABBA stuff
Ice, Ice Baby

Problem is that music is like beer. Ones you like, others will detest; ones that are critically acclaimed, you will find digusting.

Milli Vanilli - wish I could find my CD cause I'd rock it right now. You cant buy those songs anywhere:
"Blame it on the Rain"
"Girl I'm gonna miss you"
"Baby dont forget my number"

Love those songs...

Glad someone mentioned that "I'm a Barbie Girl" song. What a great, bad song.

Love "Heaven" by Bryan Adams. It must be terrible because if it's on and I'm at a stoplight I turn it down or roll up windows in nice weather.

If it makes you feel any better, I just discovered (thanks to you) that I can still sing every word to that Tesla song.

I also love and sing along to:

Many, many REO Speedwagon Songs--especially Take It On The Run

Extreme, "Hole Hearted"

And, Britney's "Baby One More Time"
