Terrible songs that you love

I have no ego about music so I see nothing embarrasing at all about liking "My Humps" or others mentioned on this thread.

That said, Alanis Morissette's voice & piano version of "My Humps" is priceless: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRmYfVCH2UA

As for "The Christmas Shoes," I feel blessed not to have heard it so far this year, and in fact to have forgotten about it until I read this thread. It makes me want to go on a murderous rampage. Little boy, your mother's going to DIE, go be with her instead of buying her shoes she will never wear.

man there are way too many embarrassing songs that I love to list here. I am a true 80s child too and it just will not get out of me.

Lee Greenwood's Proud to be an American
Anything by Neil Diamond, ABBA
Any soft rock (chicago, Phil collins)
Journey or Bon jovi anything
Salt and Peppa anything
Madonna or Whitney Huston or Mariah Carey anything
Your Body is a Wonderland by John Mayer
Fields of Gold by Sting
Starship's We Built This City
Hit Me with You Best Shot (Pat Benatar)
I'm a Barbie Girl, in my Barbie World....
The Bangles anything
that Adele song they just overplayed on the radio--Someone Like You--awesome song but not ifyou play it 856 times a day.
I now am embarrassed that I like that Gym Class Heros "My Hearts a Stereo..." (embarrassing artist name) song because Adam Levine from Maroon 5 (also embarrassing) sings on it and I saw him in Details doing yoga poses and he is hot.

I'll see your "Auld Lang Syne" and raise you one "Leader of the Band". I was singing that in the aisles of Safeway the other day-- my DH was so embarrassed he had to run into produce to get away from me.

YES!

Love it. The song that launched a thousand prom themes.

Also "Wind Beneath my Wings" -- I love it and hate it at the same time.

My 17 y.o. DS secretly loves Tyler Swift's "You Belong to Me". If we're in the car and it comes on, he always cranks up the radio and then begs me not to tell anyone that he likes it.

OP here - I'm a Safeway singer too. I try not to sing too loudly. For all of you embarrassed by Teenage Dream, I actually think that is a great pop song - not embarrassing and I actually think I do have fairly good musical taste.

Do They Know It's Christmas. It's even better with the video...

I'm so embarrassed for myself. Thank goodness this is anonymous.

Sweeeeeeet Caroline. I'm crying. It was my dad's favorite song. I remember him pulling me by the arms to dance around the living room and I'd get soooooooo mad!

I love it now and whenever it comes up I just STOP to listent.

Islands in the Stream by Dolly. Parton and Kenny Rogers
Delta Dawn by whoever that chick was
And, I hate hate Huey Lewis but for some reason I just love his duet with Gwyneth Paltrow when they sing "Cruising."

Wow-so embarrassing! But, I'm proud to say I cannot stand the worst song (in my humble opinion) of all times: that 70's version of MacArthur Park. Absolutely horrid!

I love it, too, as did my father!

A friend's ex was a roadie for Neil Diamond and said he was, by far, one of the nicest entertainers for whom he ever worked.
