I love "My Humps" too. I totally made fun of it when it came out, but it is REALLY catchy. An ex-BF and I made a bet on a football game and the loser had to stand on a chair in a public place and sing that song.
I lost. So embarrassing, but a fond memory that makes me smile whenever I hear the song. I love bad Xmas music and start listening to it in October. |

"My Humps" is also noteworthy for having inspired the most hilarious scene in a hilariously terrible movie -- "Blades of Glory". Will Ferrell is a diva-esque figure skating champ desperate to stage a comeback. He reluctantly agrees to enter the pairs competition with another guy, but on one condition: "We skate to one song -- and one song only: 'My Humps'." Then he sings a verse or two. Priceless. |
