Those giant flower headbands on infants are hideous

I've always thought headbands on babies looked silly and a little trashy, sorry to say. Babies are adorable and don't need to be decorated.

Agree with the poster who said that some parents seem to use them to indicate that the baby is a girl, which also makes me uncomfortable. It's a baby. Must we start in with the gender formation so soon? Our daughters are going to be bombarded with the pink princess culture soon enough!

my baby was born with LOTS of hair and there's no way on earth I'll cut it.

i make her wear hairbands and hairbows from birth so we won't have to fight when she becomes aware of stuff on her hair.

she needs something to hold her bangs on the side and she looks adorable.

honestly, who cares about what you think? i believe, in the end of it all it's just envy!

Then simple solution: Don't use them on your child. Problem solved. I don't see what the big deal is. If it makes a parent happy and their child is health, happy & well cared for, then of all things to concern yourself with, this is not one of them.

I'm a doctor and always fantasized about having a daughter to put girly headbands on. Also, I dress my dog up and think it is cute.

If you didn't care, you wouldn't respond. Are you in high schoool?

What exactly about this post makes it sound like she is in high school?

Agreed. Please take them off. Babies are cute without wearing a flower bigger than their head.

cuzimawesome wrote:These? They're kinda cute, but I've never been a fan of any kind of headband on a baby girl. I actually think these are cuter than those thin ones that moms put on their babies. But yeah... still not a fan, but to each his own! This is not an ugly baby by the way.

I'm not a big fan of the flowers, although I greatly prefer them to giant bows. However, I have to say that that is a super cute baby, flower or no flower.

Wow.

Baby haters and puppy kickers; please drain your teats of their barren sour liquids and form a line to the left.

This is the first time I'm seeing these - maybe I don't hang out with that kind of crowd - anyway, I think they are kind of cute, but my DD would instantly pull off anything like that I put on her head.

Mother with a masters, bald baby and somewhat ok in the grammar department.

Some of you on this board just aren't happy unless you have something to complain about. What a miserable existence.
