This was not helpful at all. So I hear the word "tacky" 12 million times in a row, but no reasons behind it. Sheeple.
FYI, you can choose who sees and does not see a post on FB. You don't have to let people who weren't invited see it.

From what I could understand through the constant word of the use "Tacky", is that wedding guests are not expected to bring a gift to the wedding. So if you share that information, without someone offering you a gift, by asking if you have a registry, you are being pushy and impolite.

I was told about the honeymoon registry for many weddings in the save the date. But for mine I listed our wedding website on the save the date and then added a different page on the websitefor the honeymoon wedding registry there.

What many people don't seem to understand is that while we're happy for you that you're getting married, we really don't care that much. And, unless you're our best friend or sibling or child or other very close relative, we definitely don't care enough to visit your wedding website or save the date or put your kitschy photo magnet on our fridge. You're just not that special (but don't be offended because nobody else is, either).

BTW, we're also not interested in coming to your gender reveal party when the time comes.
