Were we as bitter about Bush?

I just can't forgive Obama for insisting that Bush was stupid and he was smart and all about change. He said he would Immediately withdraw from Iraq when he was elected. Instead he pulled out only SOME offensive forces in year 2 ... The exact Bush administration policy. Then he said Bush was inhumane and stupid Not to close guantanimo immediately. Guantanimo is STILL open. Then he did a Bush style surge in Afghanistan. While Bushes surge Worked quickly, Obama is making no progress with no end in sight. It turns out Obama has no ideas and the ones he does have either copy "stupid" bush or are miserable failures. What kind of idiot runs saying his opponent has terrible ideas without having any idea what he is talking about and then just copies his opponents ideas when he finds out his own ideas are really stupid, childish and undoable.

Unfortuneately Obama was a lot of smoke and mirrors in his campaign and would say anything or try to hide anything he could to win election.

Many of his votes in Illinois and DC were no votes or simply "present." He really does lack in confidence and it shows more as time goes on. He has no backbone and no experience. Everyone knows he is only comfortable standing behind a teleprompter in campaign mode.

While he holds his finger in the wind looking for guidance our country slides. He is so so dynamic as a force in the world, like his Berlin speech "Citizens of the world, blah, blah, blah", yet his talent pool is drawn from Chicago the city of hardcore corruption and at least one hate church.

Currently, one day he speaks out in support of local unions; the next day he tries to back away from being involved. He is confused on a daily basis because he has no core values and lacks a moral compass.

It gives me no pleasure that he is our president or to write this.

You should not forgive him. You will never see any sign of contrition or admission of error.

One moment he proudly puffs up his chest to John McCain, one of the truly great men of our time, and sets his jaw, and to the shame of us all declares, I WON. The next day he is stumped as to whether he should take the wheel with his right hand or left hand, whether the grip should be firm or light and at what part of the wheel, 10 and 2, or 9 and 3. He has no clue.

Wow, the troll has really been active on this thread of late. Must be something going on at home to generate this much churning.

I don't like President Obama as a politician. But he seems like a pretty nice guy in general. I think his wife is lovely. And I think his children are adorable.

I think he is very smart. I think he is an outstanding public speaker. And he think he is very good at motivating people.

I am a Republican who didn't vote for him. However, I was excited when he was elected simply because I think it's wonderful that we have an African American president given our nation's history. I would have felt the same had a woman been elected. I argued with many people about the importance of giving Obama a chance. George W made a mess. And it's not a mess that can be cleaned up in a few months.

That said, he has been a huge disappointment so far. While it is true that he hasn't had the time to make things "better", by all appearances, he is making things worse. He has surrounded himself with idiots. That in itself has caused many people to have difficulty trusting his decision making ability.

I think Republicans/Conservatives are wrong to question his devotion to his country, his citizenship, and his intelligence. And I think people who call him a "secret Muslim" are crazy. He is the President of our Country, and regardless of political opinion, that office deserves respect.

I don't think Dems/Libs can throw any rocks. They were horrible to Geoge W. Both sides are guilty to attacking the person instead of the policy.

Obama deserves as much respect as he gives.

Bush never whined about Clinton or pointed his finger there, a good practive for any President and commonly practiced by tho ones with some class. Not Obama.

Ah, the color of the skin and not the content of the character.

You have made things crystal clear.

I typed out a response, then deleted it. If that's what you took from post, then nothing I say could possibly make a difference.

I would have liked see what you deleted. I can handle it.

The President of the United States is not a let's give him a "chance" office in my opinion. He had a chance to show himself as a Senatore and is still young. The fact remains he had no experience going in, clings to Chicago chronies, shows his immaturity at every turn and just plain lied about his association with Wright but has succeeded in hiding other aspects of his past like political writing in college. I can only guess it is hiden because it would not show favorably.

Is an Oriental Woman in our future? Let's give one a "chance."

Wow, this coming from the party that said "me too!" with Michael Steele and threw a Hail Mary with Sarah Palin.

Obama did not win. The GOP lost. The sooner you face that the country would rather have Obams then the mess you put on the ticket, the sooner you can let go of the anger and do something productive. Like not do the same thing all over again in 2012.

And no matter how bad Onama is, he probably won't invade the wrong country by mistake.

Iraq invasion, whether you like it or not was in our national interest. We were at war with Iraq since the 90's and did not destroy them and Saddam since he agreed to U.N. sanctions. He violated all of them and would not surrender. We finished the job. Additionally, we now have military bases in Iraq/Afghanistan and a loyal ally in Israel. We have Iran surrounded and instead of terrorists f...ing with us on our soil, we are f...ing with them on their soil. Additionally, we have established a democracy in the region and started a domino effect that everybody said could never happen. Bush has turned out to be a genius and it is proven by Obama NOT closing dow all operations in Iraq and bringing EVERYBODY home...Keeping Guantanimo open and increasing forces in Afghanistan. I MISS BUSH he at least tells you what is going on.

You have a good point there. He will probably allow our country to be invaded. Janet Napolitano still has not figured out that the Underwear Bomber was NOT a demonstration of of "everything working perfectly". The Obama Brain Trust is hard at work! Duh, duh, duh................Harvard yadda, yadda, yadda........

He has accomplished nothing other than inflating his own self absorbed ego. $228,000 per job created or saved and there is still no definition of what the f ___ a saved job is but Barry likes the resonance in his voice when he say it.

Unemployment will not exceed 8%. Real number 18-21%. Nice job Barry. He has no clue how bad he is.

Got to live the steadfastness of those who defend the dumbest foreign policy move in our nation's history. It was a *great* idea! Fight 'em there rather than here!

There's a strain of the American right-wing that really does make a fetish of ignorance.

I really do hate confusing you with facts, but your Democrats in the Senate voted 29-21 in favor. The House vote by Democrats was 82 - 126 against. Maybe they were a little confused like you.

I'd also argue that Bush's defeat of Saddam set the stage for the toppling of dictators in the Middle East a few years later. Bush was right, the Middle East deserves democracy just like everyone else.
