I am the friend in whom she confided. Correct, she did have a miscarriage the week between Christmas and New Years, however, she and the boyfriend are now engaged, likely trying again.

I just found this thread. That's so nice and so sad. The spotting story made me nervous for her. I hope they have great luck trying again. Tell her to please come back! And also, there is a trying to conceive forum on this website.
