Heather and ask her some variation of what her damage is. For real. I'm not kidding. We have been taking care of our mental health since the mid-1990s, so we are Gen-X outliers. I think we watched and rewatched The Breakfast Club, A Beautiful Mind, Reality Bites, Girl, Interrupted, Ordinary People, Mad Love, Pump Up the Volume, Trainspotting and American Beauty and episodes of Party of Five, ER, Family Ties and Facts of Life too many times. Something about the characters' life altering/ending mental health and substance abuse problems got to us. What's up with the Gen X'ers who don't pay attention to their mental health? Did they not watch any of these movies and TV shows?
