WTAF is up with Sentebale's latest lawsuit against Prince Harry?

Since she took over they basically stopped serving the community. But don’t worry she paid hundreds of thousands in consultancy fees to her brother!

That said…the fact that she ever had this position does reflect poorly on Harry to me.

That's an interesting point- who hired this lady in the first place? I assume it would take approval of multiple people on the board.

The board consisted of 6-7 trustees before they all quit in frustration with her management. Harry and Seeiso were patrons, not board members. That said, it seems really likely Harry and Seeiso had some sort of informal veto power. Perhaps nobody at the time knew how disastrous she was, and they believed the stuff about her other company, Nando or something, which turned out to be a shell company, but not sure when that became public knowledge.

Lesotho doesn't appreciate the lawsuit, apparently.

The Times really goes after her in this new article. Which marks a big change from last year's reception to her side of the story. I'd bet The Times knows who's financing her latest lawsuit shenanigans, but for some reason, they're not saying, wonder why.

(Clarification- the charity's patrons Harry and Seeiso resigned in a separate move, but in concert with the trustees.)

This really can't be turning out like Sophie expected. She must have thought nobody would question where a penniless charity found the money to sue a prince, but The Times and other outlets went straight there. Then this letter, which had previously been kept quiet, gets released and it really puts her in a bad light.

If she were smart, she'd resign and withdraw the lawsuit before things get any worse. Discovery into her finances, including who is funding this lawsuit, is going to be absolutely brutal. But she seems pretty pigheaded.

I assume she is hoping for it to settle before reaching court. I don't follow Harry or Meghan, but, I have had a long career in large international development nonprofits. I'm always up for tea like this.

At this point, with all this bad news about her coming out, I doubt Harry and Dyer would want to settle and give her the bailout money she might have hoped for. If she’s lucky, she drops the lawsuit and they don’t countersue, instead they just let it go away and the charity dies the death it was already headed for.

I doubt she’ll ever find another employer or investor.

I hope it goes to court, so the truth comes out about h & m.
We really don’t have the facts.

I don't think Harry ever "settles" with any legal matter. He always seems to be involved in long drawn out court cases.

Keeps him busy and gives him an excuse to go to England. I mean, what else does he have to do?

I mean, why should he settle this nuisance lawsuit? It's clear Sophie is a scammer, so why pay her millions to settle?

In other news, it seems like a good thing he's currently suing the Daily Mail for tapping his private phone calls.

Probably William wearing a fake mustache.

This is a bogus lawsuit. And William won't be involved. It's going to be someone she knows, not the RF.

She knows William, they met at some Earthshot thing. And William's friend Iain Rawlinson is one of her two remaining trustees.

I hope it goes to court, so the truth comes out about William's role.

We have some facts, and they all point to William. We have the fact that Willy "Africa is mine, Harold!" buddy Iain Rawlinson serves as one of Sophie C's remaining two trustees, and Rawlinson sat by Sophie's side during her barnstorming tour of the UK where she trashed Harry on every show that would have her. Rawlinson still hasn't resigned despite the travesty that is this nuisance lawsuit, which doesn't use new donor funds for sick children. We have the fact that this lawsuit just names Harry and former trustee Mark Dyer, when a total of 6 trustees put their names to that resignation letter that trashed Sophie. We have the trustees' resignation letter, which speaks volumes about Sophie C's hostile takeover. We have pictures of Sophie and William chatting at William's Earthshot.

Discovery will tell us who is the mysterious donor that's filing this nuisance lawsuit. My money's on William. Or maybe it's the tabloids, who wouldn't do it without William's OK.

The fixation by the megan and harry super fangirls on William is so strange.

The sock pupetting by the haters is strange.

The fixation on William is coming from outlets like the Daily Mail. According to the Mail, William is basically perpetually incandescent (their word) about Harry and rages at least once a week about stripping Harry's titles, stripping titles from the Sussexes' children, and basically banning them from Britain (not sure he can even do that, but I didn't make it up). True or not, you decide. But don't blame it on meghan and harry fangirls--blame it on the UK media.

What would the incentive for anyone to settle at this juncture? The time to settle would be before it hit the press.
