Have you been out since Saturday?

Yep. All of these people bragging about going out to eat don’t understand the social contract. Or are just awful, selfish people who don’t care.

We went out Friday. There are many 2 lane roads which are currently 1.5 lanes. It’s not been cleared even today and there is no salt or sand put down anywhere.

Normally, it takes an hour to get to the hospital. I budgeted 90 min. So many lanes disappeared that it took two hours. I missed the first of three appointments and will have to return on Wednesday.

Yes. Went out on Wed. to starbucks, library and store. Thursday had medical appointments and errands, went out to dinner. Took the kids to a museum on Friday. And activities today.

All was well.

Our driveway and sidewalks are clear (we hired someone) and both cars are clear.

Odd so many of you were at the doctors multiple times in a week.

DP. Sometimes life is like that. I had a scheduled appointment yesterday and a dental emergency on Tuesday that turned into an extraction today.

+1

I have 3 appointments next week—annual follow with my sleep medicine doctor, a crown at the dentist, and a derm appointment.

Maybe for you hermits. The rest of us are living life. I've even been out to dinner.

Np we are living life but at home.

Vienna was the only city where we saw dump trucks with cranes, clawing up the snow mountains at intersections along maple Ave. Kudos to Vienna Public Works, you rock!

Literally no one is asking anyone to stay off the roads anymore. They haven't been since Sunday. And anyway, you don't need to drive to go out. I took Metro to the office Thursday and Friday, and also took it to synagogue today. Walked to pick up takeout last night.

So depressing (for me).

I find i strange when people have to be on the go 24/7 and can't relax at home with family or spend any time alone.

What are you running from yourself?

Oh great. The stay at home during Covid bullies have been replaced with the stay at home because of the snow bullies.

I've mostly been home as I only got my car dug out today...and am worried about moving it and losing my parking on the street. My back alley parking space is filled with snow even if the alley is now clear. I can walk to stuff so have been out in the neighborhood. A friend picked me up yesterday and went to dinner somewhere near a parking garage.
