Was Baron Trump calling a hook up he met online?

Without a doubt.

Barron Trump is garbage just like his siblings.

Character??? BS he's garbage.

They had to do a lot of work on this story to make him look good. So many gullible people out there.

He's fine. I read the news report and heard the 911 call (or whatever it was) and he seemed like he was just trying to do the right thing.

Lots of people get frustrated at emergency call operators for asking so many questions; the don't realize that help has already been dispatched and he operator is asking followup questions.

I suppose if the operator said help was on the way, people would hang up?

Regardless - he himself isn't a public figure, and he made this call as a private citizen, concerned about another person. I don't think it should be in the news at all.

The police received the call at 2:23 a.m. local time on Jan. 18, 2025. The transcript showed that Mr. Trump told the call handler from the City of London Police: “It’s really an emergency.”

Mr. Trump, who did not identify himself on the phone, gave the police the woman’s name and address and said that he had witnessed an assault on a video call minutes earlier.

When the call handler asked how he knew the woman, Mr. Trump replied: “I mean these details don’t matter, she’s getting beat up.”

The call handler told Mr. Trump that they needed to take more information, including how he knew her, and Mr. Trump replied: “I don’t think these details matter, she’s getting beat up, but okay fine, also I met her on social media, I don’t think that matters.”

The call handler said: “Can you stop being rude and actually answer my questions.”

After answering several more questions, Mr. Trump said: “She’s getting really badly beat up and the call was about eight minutes ago, I don’t know what could have happened by now. So, sorry for being rude.”

How obnoxious of the call handler. That type of grilling leads to people not making reports. like. What if it was a sex worker, are you not going to dispatch because the caller won't oblige all the details? Baron sounds really level headed here.

+1
Aren't people allowed to make anonymous calls? Or call on behalf of a stranger? Why on earth would they need to know how he knew her, or if he even knew her at all?

It probably makes it really hard to meet girls. So he’s online. And apparently met some Russian woman in London? This all seems hugely problematic and is probably why he was instructed not to reply to any of the follow up inquiries from law enforcement. I mean, he was a witness to a crime so of course they tried to interview him. But 50/50 she’s a honey pot I’d think. It is sweet that he tried to get her help though. I feel bad for him on a lot of levels.

No. He's not online meeting girls because it's hard as the president's son to meet them in person. He's online meeting girls because he's a 19 yr old. Full stop. That's how they meet people.

He's a college student at NYU...which is in NYC, one of the most populous cities in America. There are other ways for him to meet girls.

DP. The PP is correct. Sadly, this is how young people meet one another these days. Get with the program.

You mean exactly the way some posters have already claimed? Oh.

It's really disgusting of you to spin this the way you're doing.

And I loathe Trump and all the MAGA universe.

I think people are generally giving Barron the benefit of the doubt because he’s 19 years old.

He did the decent thing. Anyone under the kind of scrutiny that he has been would be reluctant about sharing his name while reporting. I felt really badly for him as a preteen.

Maybe Baron will be on the next season of 90 Day fiancé!

As they should.

Or maybe he asked them to and they told him it’s not part of their job description.

Actually, his detail are mandatory reporters. So unless she was clearly over the age of 18 they are required to report.

Don’t know about 999, but it’s standard practice for 911 to ask the caller’s name and location. Yes Barron was well intentioned here but plenty of young people do like to make crank calls that waste public resources if someone sends out a patrol car to respond to a fake call.

I’ve called 911 multiple times in DC and after taking all relevant information about the issue, the dispatcher has asked if I would like to leave my name and contact info. I have always declined and it has never been an issue.

This is a lot better than I would have expected from him, mostly in how he showed presence of mind in an upsetting situation. I actually don’t give him points for wanting to be the hero in a damsel in distress play—most men want that.
