Was Baron Trump calling a hook up he met online?

Anonymous
The police received the call at 2:23 a.m. local time on Jan. 18, 2025. The transcript showed that Mr. Trump told the call handler from the City of London Police: “It’s really an emergency.”

Mr. Trump, who did not identify himself on the phone, gave the police the woman’s name and address and said that he had witnessed an assault on a video call minutes earlier.

When the call handler asked how he knew the woman, Mr. Trump replied: “I mean these details don’t matter, she’s getting beat up.”

The call handler told Mr. Trump that they needed to take more information, including how he knew her, and Mr. Trump replied: “I don’t think these details matter, she’s getting beat up, but okay fine, also I met her on social media, I don’t think that matters.”

The call handler said: “Can you stop being rude and actually answer my questions.”

After answering several more questions, Mr. Trump said: “She’s getting really badly beat up and the call was about eight minutes ago, I don’t know what could have happened by now. So, sorry for being rude.”

How obnoxious of the call handler. That type of grilling leads to people not making reports. like. What if it was a sex worker, are you not going to dispatch because the caller won't oblige all the details? Baron sounds really level headed here.

Seems pretty standard to me. that call handler has no way of knowing it’s the president’s son trying to avoid giving his name rather than a crank making up stories trying to waste their time.

What could possibly go wrong with the President’s son engaging with women he meets online? /s

If someone calls, they should send someone. I have called 911 to report yelling I heard at aneighbors's house, declined to give my name or information on who I was, and they sent someone.

But they asked you your name and you declined. Same as with Barron. And they sent officers despite him not giving his name. Same as what happened for you.

You both had your reasons to decline but it’s still normal for the operator to ask who is calling.

I am not sure why he is getting hate and criticism over this. People just like to be nasty. The woman has said she was being beaten and strangled. He saw a 10-15 second FaceTime that showed a woman he had never even met being harmed and he called police who came and recused her. According to her he saved her life as she wasn’t sure how far her ex boyfriend would go and thought he might kill her.

This wasn’t politics. This was a human caring about another human. Makes me sad to see all the hate and criticism he is getting.

Don’t know about 999, but it’s standard practice for 911 to ask the caller’s name and location. Yes Barron was well intentioned here but plenty of young people do like to make crank calls that waste public resources if someone sends out a patrol car to respond to a fake call.

I live in San Francisco where there are a lot of addicts and I sometimes call 911 if I think the person might be dead. They always ASK if I'd like to give a name. I say no thank you and they move on. No big deal.

I’m glad he called, he could have very easily not. We don’t know anything about him; sounds like he is a better person than his dad.

Right, but when I declined they said ok, didn't keep pressing and call me rude. I would have hung up lol so I am impressed he stayed on and kept talking to them calmly

It probably makes it really hard to meet girls. So he’s online. And apparently met some Russian woman in London? This all seems hugely problematic and is probably why he was instructed not to reply to any of the follow up inquiries from law enforcement. I mean, he was a witness to a crime so of course they tried to interview him. But 50/50 she’s a honey pot I’d think. It is sweet that he tried to get her help though. I feel bad for him on a lot of levels.

Honestly, I feel like the majority of the sons of politicians and celebs would be the ones raping and beating the woman. Not helping her.

I have no hate or criticism regarding Barron, but it’s not the least bit surprising that he’s become acquainted with a Russian thug’s ex via social media. Good for him for getting her help. It sounds like she desperately needed it. Hopefully Barron won’t get seriously involved with a Russian honeypot.

No. He's not online meeting girls because it's hard as the president's son to meet them in person. He's online meeting girls because he's a 19 yr old. Full stop. That's how they meet people.

If he gave his name to the dispatcher they might have thought it was a prank or a swat attempt.

Who is giving him hate? People on this thread are praising him. But I don't think it's accurate to say he never met this woman.

Mr. Trump described the woman in the email to the police as someone “who I am very close with” and said that he had met her over social media.
