The administration went to SCOTUS to make sure they didn't have to pay SNAP. The campaign ads write themselves. |
Because it is a bald faced easily debunked lie. |
You know what also comes to mind? The 13 times Republican senators voted for Democrat CR during the Biden administration. You know, when the Democrats didn’t have a supermajority. |
It’s difficult because it’s wrong. Repeating lies doesn’t make them true. |
Democrats have voted 15 times since September AGAINST funding the government, including SNAP. That’s literally why there is no money. Period, full stop. |
Y'all cain't take away mah freedom. |
The Republicans haven’t involved the Democrats in anything all year. Not sure why they expect unconditional support now. Period, full stop. |
Thes problems can all be traced to 18th and 19th Century compromises to give slaveowners extra votes as incentive to keep them in the United States. |
This is completely untrue. For the first time in many years Leader Thune was bring approps bills to the floor under regular order. The Democrats have been historically obstructing things all year from nominations to the CR votes. |
Clearly they felt they had had sufficient input in the budget they were extending. Lesson learned for republicans to get buy-in. |
There’s no money?!!?!?? What’s that stuff we’re sending to Argentina? |
| It only has partial funding. |
Because it’s not the truth. |
Why do you insist on lying about this situation? What’s in it for you? |
|
SNAP wasn't halted in the last shutdown.
The Trump administration CHOSE to do it. The courts ruled they need to continue SNAP but the Trump administration is fighting it. Meanwhile they have billions for Argentina, private jets for Noem and everything else, but not SNAP. Sorry but "it's the Dems fault" just doesn't fly. |
