First circuit says the administration must pay SNAP. Per Jackson's order on Friday, the Administration must start paying by Teusday night. Of course, Trump could appeal this to the Supreme Court to prove that MAGA values prioritize starving its citizens.

Trump learned the word "groceries" last election and said it won him the election. Now all the Democrats have to say in 2026 and 2028 is that SNAP will continue whatever happens and that the GOP will go to SCOTUS to argue against having to pay it while threatening states that they can't pay it themselves. One can argue the minutia of the details, but simple messages matter much more. |
