For middle of the pack football fanatics, Dartmouth is not a bad choice.. |
BINGO! It's defiantly not all about rank. Find the right fit and apply, and yes, there will likely only be 3-4 max in the T20 that are "right fit". |

The "ivy league" is just a sports conference that includes schools from hundreds of years ago. There are definitely "better" and "worse" ivies depending on what your kid is looking for - so the quality is not even consistent among ivies.
Similar to NESCAC that has a range of different schools, not all enjoy the same prestige, quality or value. |
This PP is defiantly a role model for Ivy League students |
The link says Dartmouth accepts 44 kids off the waitlist on average over last 20 years. That's 4% of the class size (1140). |
Similar outcomes with two kids and I agree |
UChicago has problems. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acU_T-ZvE7A A student is trying to grab a gun out of the hand of someone that is trying to rob her. Another student is relaxing on the grass watching like it is a normal day. |

Chicago and JHU have about 10% students from top 1% net worth families.
Ivies have ~20% students from top 1% NW families. The quality of peers and the network you got from ivies far exceeds those from Chicago and JHU. |
| At the non-Ivies you actually have to study. |
| Non-ivy such as MIT, Stanford, Duke, etc are better than most Ivies. |
good way of looking at things. the ivies for sure are better to date at as well. jhu and chicago are some of the worst campuses to date in. |
All of T10 ivies are test required. Chicago, Duke, and Northwestern are test optional. |
Perfectly said. This is one of the only intelligent comments on this thread. |
that study is from 2017 a long time ago and irrelevant today. also cornell had lower percents than either. learn to read better |
yale is not sat/act required |
