Why is "triggering the libs" so important to conservative identity?

I am conservative, and your feelings are not important to me at all. I absolutely don't care what triggers you (I presume there are a lot of things). Why this should be my concern?

Hint: don't believe everything you see on social media.

Immigration why can't we build a wall? "but what about racism you're racists."

Does this mean you're going to help us build the wall, "NO! because, because you're rapists"

So, it devolves to who can best "trigger" the Democrats.

My personal argument against the wall was "this wall, which costs $20 million per mile, can be scaled using a $20 ladder or breached using a $100 saw" but you do you.

Trump's policies were generally regarded as working. I don't think anyone argues that anymore.

By who? Only by MAGA. I think only a small handful of his policies are maybe working but most of them have been a trainwreck.

Exhibit A of the typical MAGA projection.

"Arrogant is an adjective describing someone who has an insulting attitude of thinking they are better, smarter, or more important than others. This often involves an overbearing, haughty, and conceited manner, where an individual makes excessive claims of importance or shows a dismissive attitude towards other people's opinions and feelings."

MAGA follow Trump. All are petty, insecure, and cruel. They are outwardly dismissive of liberals/Democrats opinions and feelings and have to demean others to make themselves feel better.

It's really the worst of humanity. We've known people like these all of our lives. The kind of people you avoid if you want a healthy life.

Deplorables. Uneducated. Stupid. Illiterate. A constant leftist post here. I’d say that’s arrogance

You think that we are arrogant, but maybe it’s because we think and behave better?

Better than racists, fascists, and pedo protectors? Better than people that support corruption to the core?

Better than people that support an armed amateur masked Gestapo?

Better because we don’t support this disgusting regime?

Well, sure.

We’d rather watch the country burn down than lower ourselves to negotiate with that.

How can we lose? You told us there would never be another election, since Trump won.

Awfully smug given your king is building ballroom for himself that won’t be finished before the next election. Does Trump strike you as the kind of guy who shares? lol

But it’s true. Facts don’t care about your feelings.

Interesting. Since the left is so cognitively superior, why aren’t you able to run circles around the right and win every election?

Also interesting. Why do you, a cognitively superior human, occasionally get bitten by mosquitoes?

Sarcasm aside, the answer to your question is that we don’t live in a direct democracy. Instead of “which side has smarter voters” it’s more like “which side has wealthier donors” and “which side owns more voting machines”.

But being cognitively superior, shouldn’t the libs be able to easily run circles around the conservative rubes and gain control of the voting machines?

Shouldn’t the libs with their superior cognition be able to make much more money than the conservative rubes, and thereby have all the wealthiest donors on their side?

The average IQ is 100. We are simply outnumbered. And Fox News decided to target them and tell them they’re smart and should pay attention to politics. They used to not care about the news and politics because it was boring. Now it gives them a mega dopamine hit and someone to blame for their problems.

But shouldn’t you with your superior cognitive capabilities be able to come up with a clever message to win over to cognitively inferior rubes?

The rubes should be like putty in your hands.

You should be able to run circles around the dummies at places like Fox News.

They are a lot higher than they were - and should be. Other prices are high and continue to spiral. What about healthcare? He promised us a plan 10 years ago, still NOTHING. What about energy costs? What about the cost of appliances? The refrigerator we were thinking of buying earlier this year went up by $200. What about housing costs? All going up, up, up. And meanwhile I know of several people who have been trying to get jobs for months, the job market is a mess, I'm seeing businesses closing, storefronts getting boarded up. It's not fine.

How would you describe it? Do you find racism deplorable? Are you going to argue that the immigration policies and enforcement of the current administration aren't racist? You can't, because they are. The way ICE agents treat people is deplorable. The lies Trump is constantly using to scapegoat immigrants is horrible. And MAGA repeat it and enjoy watching the cruelty. Deplorable sure seems appropriate. And don't give me this open borders crap. We want sensible, humane immigration enforcement. This is possible. What is happening now is not sensible or humane.

I don't subscribe to the uneducated and illiterate but how do you explain the complete acceptance of obvious lies from Trump? He lies constantly and they lap it up. These are easily verifiable things if you haven't lost your mind to conspiracy theories, but they have. It means either they are gullible or stupid or...they like the lies. He is a hateful, vengeful, petty, and obviously and blatantly corrupt person. So what are we supposed to think about those who go along with all his lies? That they are angry hateful petty people who don't care about ethics or morals? Yup.

And what are we to think about people who cheer his obvious moves to erode democracy and create an autocracy? It's so obvious. If you cheer that, you are a traitor to this country.

Please give me any actual, truthful explanation for why we should give MAGA any benefit of a doubt after the past 10 years? Good luck with that. We judge them based on their actions and professed beliefs, all of which are awful. You reap what you sow.

The problem is having ethics and trying to behave decently. Also trying to have actual plans to address things.

Ultra rich people basically are willing to do anything for money with no care for who gets hurt. Rubes get bored listening to actual policy. They want lies and entertainment. Bread and circuses.

NP. I haven't read the thread. But the basic answer is that it's hilarious and fun. Libs get off on shaking signs and calling people names. We like memes and flippant statements. It's not that different.

Nope. "Libs" are holding signs and complaining because the corrupt current administration is trying to undermine democracy and turn us into an autocratic state. They are tired of being lied about as an excuse for the corrupt current administration to incite political violence. They object to human rights abuses by ICE. And on and on with the horrors of this admin and Trump.

You guys make AI videos about sh*t and revel in cruelty.

Not even in the same realm.
