1. “Open borders”: No mainstream Democrat supports that. They back sensible border security, not wasting billions on a wall in empty desert that can be cut through with a $30 angle grinder. They want legal pathways for refugees and workers who strengthen our economy, not a free‑for‑all.

2. “Anti‑deportation”: False. Democrats support deporting violent criminals. What they oppose is mass deportation of people with no record; over 97% of Trump’s deportees had none. Also, Democrats believe in due process.

3. “Men invading women’s sports”: Nonsense. Democrats support inclusion, but with fairness (not for competitive advantage), and believe in leaving the rules to athletic associations, not to politicians. Odd that the "small government" Republicans want bathroom and locker room police. As for whether someone does something indecent in a bathroom or locker room, we already had plenty of laws on the books for that long before MAGA came along.

4. “Criminals released without accountability”: Wrong again. Democrats argue cash bail punishes poverty, not crime. They support detaining dangerous offenders regardless of wealth, while not jailing low‑risk defendants over minor charges. It’s risk‑based detention, not “letting criminals run free.”

5: “Military as a DEI experiment”: Another distortion. Democrats want the military to reflect the real America, diverse, fair, and inclusive, without compromising combat readiness. Republican assertions here are as absurd as Trump pretending we were hiring “dwarves, amputees, and epileptics” for air traffic control; the health and skill requirements are quite rigorous.

Bottom line: Your so‑called “common sense” ignores nuance and flattens complex positions into caricatures. That’s not “speaking truth” or “triggering libs”, it’s just demonstrating your own ignorance and misunderstanding of why Democrats are annoyed with you.

It is important to your identity. You feel inferior, hence interpreting people (that don't think about you at all) as having "smug looks" on their faces. You try to feel better about yourself by wasting your time and energy "wiping smug looks off their faces."

And the best part about it is that Dems aren't being owned. You are merely confirming what they thought -- that you are petty and intellectually inferior. I just roll my eyes and go about my day. MAGA policies aren't affecting my day to day life. My stock portfolio is doing great and I'm not expending any energy on trying to troll the right wing losers. They can destroy themselves. I do feel a great deal of compassion for non MAGA losers that are suffering in this economy. But people voted for this. Hopefully, next time they will make a better choice.
