So their overall rankings don’t add up at all with their top 5s? What a useless ranking. A bunch of useless categories like “campus experience and student experience”

Seriously, can't imagine why anyone would care whether their kid enjoys college.

Lol exactly. Just haters who can’t fathom their school not on this list so they say nonsensical things. I actually think it’s the same 1 or 2 posters who aren’t happy that keep posting

Nope. How can there be only 4 schools in the South? Didn't we recently learn that the South is becoming the center of the academic universe??

This should make a lot of posters on this board happy.

As a point of clarification, the OP posted the university subcategory of WalletHub's general ranking of colleges and universities together.

What is interesting about this list is that you can create your own ranking based on your priorities. For me it is outcomes -- both education and career. Others may prioritize other things, which to me are not important, such as selectivity and cost. And while campus experience is an important factor, that is so subjective, it is essentially useless in this ranking.

So it turns out that for my kid's first choice, the two most important things rank #4 and #18. That is quite reassuring.

lol

The top 20 are among the most unsafe schools according to this ranking.

Also the most expensive ones but no surprise there.

"UVA is 39."

UVA placed 39th in its subcategory and 50th overall.

Or outside the top 50, like Georgetown and Maryland.

Yet Cornell is missing from T20.

Cornell is ranked 25 below WashU at 23.
