I like how they use
"Faculty resources" "Campus experience" "Education outcomes" and "Career outcomes" as factors. |
| Some of those schools (ivies) have restrictive early apply |
is that remarkable in some way? |
Honestly, they should leave out subjective nonsense like this. I gather a place like NYU gets hammered by Campus Experience because it doesn't really have one. However, it's not like a new student is shocked when they arrive in September only to discover this. |
| Simultaneously there are post talking about how these same schools admit a high proportion of students based on nonacademic criteria. |
|
Makes sense but Dartmouth ranks unusually high.
Yet Cornell is missing from T20. |
| Massachusetts does well in LAC category with Wellesley 2, Amherst 5, and Holy Cross 13. |
|
SMU #244
TCU & Texas A&M rank much higher than SMU. |
No. That’s the way things are done in American, just like in college admissions. Nonsense but easy to manipulate. |
Nobody wants a campus full of robots. |
NYU ranks super high in Campus experience. It ranks relatively lower in Faculty, Education, and Career. Still good, but don't blame campus. |
| If campus experience was a dominating factor in the rating and subsequent ranking of each school, then Ole Miss would be near the top of the list. |
