By their own scoring, Williams should be the #1 college, and CMC should be #3. But in the college rankings they rank lower-scoring colleges higher. Are these two not 'colleges'?

Williams placed in the university subcategory, presumably because of its PhD-level degrees. CMC also appears in the university category, for a reason maybe someone else can explain.

Williams doesn’t have PhD degrees, but both it and cmc have masters programs

Be for real, you can get into Dartmouth with a middling 1400 sat score. It is nothing like MIT or Stanford.

Dartmouth isn't really different than Stanford when it comes to SAT scores. SAT 25th-75th percentile ranges from 2019-2020 (when both were test required):

Dartmouth 1450-1550
Stanford 1440-1550
