Your thoughts on Stephen Miller accusing dems of using rhetoric 'to mark people'

lol dude. Who is engaging masked thugs to kidnap hardworking people and send them to gulags? Maybe stop acting fascist and you’ll stop being called that.

Calling someone names (or describing their actions and viewpoints accurately) on an anonymous message board is not stochastic terrorism.

It's a symptom of the left's persistent use of stochastic terrorism to mark people for assassination. On this thread, Stephen Miller was likened to Hitler. Like you all, I was raised on movies like Valkyrie which praised violent resistance against Hitler-- which I want to be clear, is totally morally acceptable. Hitler was a deranged mass murderer. Stephen Miller hasn't killed a single person, much less millions like Hitler. Yet he, like every other republican, is constantly being called a Nazi and Hitler. So in a society that's been conditioned through Hollywood movies and college ethics class dilemmas to consider it morally acceptable, or even morally obligatory to kill such people-- what exactly do you expect to happen other than assassinations?

And here's what's worse- this rhetoric is so pervasive, you're no longer able to critically analyze whether people are actually Nazis or white supremacists. That part of your brain has shut down. It's like when people at war are encouraged to call the enemy H@jjis or J@ps. That's all this is. You're giving Republicans a label so you don't see them as human and can kill them easily. Just look at how the left cheered Kirk's death because he was a "white supremacist" (no he wasn't, yall are tripping).

If you're going to (rightfully) attribute all the deaths and murders that occurred under Hitlers orders to him, you cannot then rightfully state that Stephen Miller hasn't killed anyone. This regime has absolutely killed people, and Stephen Miller is one of the people running the show.

The signal chat showed he was the one who called to bomb the Houthis. He killed thousands of kids in Africa when he burned the medicine. He’s also killed pails on those what 2-3 boats. Let’s face it, he’s our president.

Stephen Miller has espoused racist and white supremacist views since high school. I don’t understand the point you’re trying to make. I’m not going to ignore reality and evidence to mollify you.

You say this, but can't provide any evidence. And you don't need to because everyone repeats it so often that you just believe it.

No, we can’t provide evidence you will believe. There is a distinct difference.

Any human woman is out of his league so that doesn’t prove anything.

That said there is so much focus on controlling rhetoric if the other side and none on the fact that neither Trump nor his policies are particularly popular right now based on available polling data. You care more about not getting your little feelings hurt than the fact that the ultra-MAGA soybean farmers have seen their business permanently destroyed by tariffs. Time to toughen up, buttercup.

Here's why this is racist. There are many Indian-Canadians...yet the meme seems to imply that the only Canadian in the photo is the white woman. For all I know, she's American.

The meme relies on bigoted, race-based assumptions to work. As a non-white American, I find stuff like this dangerous and terror inducing.

Trumps policies with respect to immigration are actually terrible for college students.

Instead of eliminating h1B1 program he grandfathered in everyone AND made it so it’s only worth doing for higher paid employees (don’t we want Americans doing those jobs?) and he made it possible for 600,000 chinese nationals to study at American universities. I don’t know about you but I haven’t worked hard so that my kids can be replaced with the largely domestic workers and manual laborers that ICE is deporting while actively working to undermine the middle and upper class through cheap foreign labor.

Okay, so your position is that a policeman covering his face is just like murdering 6 million people and starting a world war.

It's like you guys have never spent a day outside the US in your life. Police overseas, including Europe where you all want to move, routinely wear masks for similar operations. Calm down.

Ma'am. I haven't mentioned anything about soybeans and also don't have any strong feelings about soybeans. I'm being quite transparent that I am concerned about violent rhetoric on the left. You don't want to engage with that idea, probably because it is damping of the left's current strategy, so you want to talk about popularity, soybeans, and tariffs. Go start another thread. This is about all the assassinations the left is planning because everyone who doesn't agree with them is Hitler.

It's not terror inducing for immigration and its consequences to be a matter of public discussion. You look at that picture and think it's about race because the leftist brain stops computing once it hits skin deep. I look at that picture and think it is about immigration policies and the fact that most nations try to import people from a mix of regions in order to preserve the native culture and ensure assimilation of immigrants. That's the issue in Canada right now. They aren't opposed to Indians, they are opposed to the rate of immigration from one nation and its cultural consequences. And yes. Nations, including western ones, have a right to explicitly work to preserve their culture.

How to recognize fascism in America
From Army Talk, March 24, 1945

When fascism comes to America it won’t call itself that, nor will it be wearing a swastika. It will call itself "patriotic" and "100% American."

Fascistic Tactics to Look For
1. Hate campaign against a particular religious, racial, or ethnic group. Like, for example, let's say a candidate emerges who calls all people of one nationality "rapists" and "criminals," while promising to ban immigrants from only one religious group.
2. Anyone who tries to amp up nationalistic animosities toward other nations or peoples, framing attempts to foster international cooperation as forms of weakness. The idea that all humans share the earth as equals is anathema to fascists.
3. Tendency to label anyone they disagree with who is to their left "a Communist." Fascists claim that they alone can save their nations from "the communist menace." (The 2024 GOP platform contains the phrase "Christ-hating communists.")
