Obama as good. Aside from him it really has been the “least bad” candidate for the last 30+ years that I’ve been voting.

Who cares what it technically was or wasn’t? He endangered people around him and then used his punishment to boost his political career by performing his 1,000 hours of community service for his own PAC! That is gross and completely indicative of democrats thoughts on crime and punishment.

Today Obama would be drawn and quartered immediately for not those-stepping the party line. Who remembers he was openly anti gay marriage when elected?

So that puts him light years ahead of the corrupt Republicans who repeatedly won’t hold their rapist leader accountable for his crimes against our country.

Do you find the Richmond times dispatch to be a RWNJ?

The fact that you CANT find a source from the left is telling as well.

Maybe because they don’t think speeding tickets are newsworthy with all of the actual bad sht that is happening right now. Much of which is driven by the Republicans.

+1 Basic background investigations should be the minimum requirement for anyone running for any office or position. There are not enough decent law abiding people anymore anywhere!

If we eliminate everyone with a speeding ticket will there be anyone left?

MAGA is so wild, they elect a rapist and are posting about a speeding ticket.

It’s a speeding ticket FFS

Have you any idea of a speed of 120 mph? Have you ever driven that fast?

There is no survival possible for those in that car and any car that is unlucky enough to coexist with that speed.

It wasn’t 120mph.

Like I said, it’s a speeding ticket F F S.

OP is a POS.

Why? So 116 mph! You are kidding to point out 4 mph? The 4 mph make no difference in effects. No chance of survival for anyone in that car or any car near it. It was recent, too, 2022.

Serious lack of judgement, reckless, public endangerment. Great candidate.

How are they not doing a basic background check before they have people getting into a position for candidacy? Serious question!

“But it’s just a small lie”. Very telling that Republicans lie every single chance they get.

It’s a speeding ticket. He still has infinitely better judgment than any Republican in 2025.

Agree 100%. Being a Republican in the past 10 years shows a horrific lack of judgment. Still voting for Jones.

This makes you sound ridiculous. Look it up for yourself. https://eapps.courts.state.va.us/gdcourts/changeCourt.do

You don’t drive that fast unless you don’t give an F about anyone else. Especially as an adult. Not someone to be trusted with any ounce of power.

How do we keep ending up having only awful people to support?

You do understand that the Democrats only put forward the best and the brightest the party has to offer?

Imagine the candidates that didn't get picked.

All are infinitely better than anyone running as a Republican in 2025.

Could absolutely care less. Hmmm…someone who was speeding or fascism?

I think I’ll choose democracy? Just call me crazy.

This 👆x100.

The lack of morality in elected Republicans across the board these days is truly disgusting. No respect for the laws, not merely speed limits. There’s absolutely no room for comparison here. Democrats more reliably toss their bad actors to the curb whereas Republicans double down and support the worst crimes, even in those only holding appointments, hell they’ll even support corrupt Democrats if they can blackmail them (Adams). The current expose of the day, the cover up of Tom Homan’s bribe by Bondi and Patel, is merely the tip of it.
