My son lives on the hill and reports a wonderful "vibe shift" from recent years because students and residents feel free to walk around, dine, and bar hop in areas on Capitol Hill. He even saw a mother with a baby in a stroller out at 10 PM on H Street, enjoying the warm evening. Instacart and other delivery services have told me to my face and to him that they are "having a great day" because, for a change, they won't be robbed. The restaurateurs I know report a resurgence in DC dining, which is NOT what the WaPO (which is anti-Trump) wants to report.
