I dont understand why reckless drivers are allowed to wreak havoc on ours roads but a minor administrative infraction leads to impound. |
OP made the mistake of pulling over. Just keep going. Police aren't allowed to pursue. |
True, OP should have just fled the police officer who had his sirens on. This would have ensured that they didn’t have to pay a hefty tow yard price along with citation fees. ???? Are you freaking serious? OP making an illegal U-turn is very dangerous. Because the cars on opposite side of the road do not expect that you will be turning your car and they will be driving the opposite direction and you risk crashing into the side of their car aka t-boning them. Glad you got towed. |
You sound useless OP. |
Agreed. Though for such a benign query I must admit even I am shocked at all the snarkiness that has ensued. |
+1 |
OP your post reeked of privilege, you are a professional victim imo. But honestly I have seen worse posts on here than yours. |
Making an illegal u-turn is one of the most dangerous driving infractions a motorist can make.
Why so? Because you are basically driving your car into ONCOMING TRAFFIC. Period. Hope along with having your car towed away you actually have a hefty fine to pay for putting so many other drivers at so much risk. |
I have never made an illegal uturn.
Nor have I ever ran a red light or stop sign. And I most definitely have never driven or been a passenger in a vehicle without wearing a safety belt (except for a taxi cab.) Those that do need to have their licenses revoked because all of these offenses can kill other motorists who drive responsibly. |
