Tim Walz Tells Democrats to 'Bully the S***' Out of Donald Trump

Anonymous
Or, you could develop a platform that actually works for Americans. Then you don’t have to stress out over candidates or messaging or bullying or whatever other excuse of the week.

The craziest part is that team D does have winning issues, they just like to focus on other stuff…

I think so too.

Democrats are disgusted by Trump.

So, they should be like Trump?

Walz has a public persona, definitely, and the real Walz is ok with “bullying the shit” out of someone.

How about this: you go first, Tim. Show us how to bully the shit out of Trump.

Also: why didn’t Walz “bully” Trump when he was the vp candidate?

Also, I am an adult and I can't imagine being a former presidential running mate and getting up on stage and uttering those words. I'm experiencing second hand embarrassment for him. I mean, not only is it a really weird sentiment, it's also words that no one actually uses in a sentence. You would never see teens get together and one says, "fellow kids, let's bully the shit out of Noah" or whatever. Tim Walz makes me think those lizard people conspiracy theorists might be on to something. The guy is like a robot pretending to be human.

This is what teachers teach students:

IMG-6577

Walz needs to quit referencing his teaching background when urging democrats to “bully the shit” out of Trump.

Yes, that is what teachers teach. The missing part though, is: What do you do in a dangerous situation when there’s no adult to ask? Or the adults can’t intervene effectively? Or the adults are the bullies? So, yeah, this is nice first level stuff in environments that offer effective interventions and protections. That’s an ideal situation though.

Trump, as an adult, bragged about hitting his second grade music teacher. Without getting into his overall psychopathology, this is the kind of person we’re talking about and dealing with here. To use your analogy with that nice flyer, who should we tell? The Republicans in Congress who Ave given over their power to Trump? The “adults” from his first administration who are now licking their wounds? People like Musk, Miller, and Bannon —who are cheering him on? What would effectively contain our Bully-In-Chief?

Our current president stood up on stage and said Haitians are eating people's pets.

I mean, the bar is like rock bottom here. It cannot go any lower.

Exactly. Also, for all the teachers, he clearly differentiates between a child and adult.

Those Fox hosts are even struggling to lie.

He at least sounds human while he says that stuff. Walz is like a simulacrum of a human, it's like his brain has been replaced by ChatGPT and he says things that sound familiar but are in fact very, very strange.

People keep insisting that mocking Trump hurts his ego.

Do you see a man with a hurt ego?

Seriously, he just won the presidency after being left for dead by everyone in the world.

How is his ego “hurt?”

Did you see how mad he was at the TACO question? Being made fun of sends him over the edge.

Ah yes, Trump is terminally fragile.

A regular shrinking violet, he is.

Jfc, have you been paying attention at all since 2016?

He is and it’s fascinating that MAGA cultists can’t see it. He’s an absolute buffoon and man-baby. He’s weak, a whiner, and always playing the victim. His bravado is as fake as can be and it’s obvious to anyone with a modicum of people skills.

I get the sense that all Trumpers are either abusive or were abused and not healed because everything about this man is repulsive and toxic. Either you’re attracted to to it or you think it’s normal. It’s not. At all.

Ok, in democratic fantasy land, Trump is so weak and baby-ish. He’s just a little baby.

or, depending on the day, he’s a brutal fascist dictator. Ruthless and evil.

Or, another day (in democratic fantasy land) Trump is a dummy who can’t read.

Meanwhile, he’s been elected twice and democrats are spending more time talking about their various Trump fantasies than what they stand for and the future the democratic party wants to achieve for all Americans.

Utterly brilliant.

So, you don’t think your boy is capable of being multifaceted?
Oh, and that’s “elected”.

Your characterization of a twice elected US president as “your boy” marks you as a person we should not listen to or take advice from, ever.

Are you the democrat from the other thread who posted about “someone’s short bus riding son?”

Nope, not me. I’m the one who really doesn’t care that someone on an anonymous board doesn’t value my advice. I’m also the one who recognizes that people who have lived very protected and often very privileged lives might mean well, but might lack both the skills and the flexibility to address situations outside of their own experiences.

The Dems had that in 2024. Their policies appeal to a majority of the population on nearly every issue.

That American’s voted against their interest, are racist and/or sexist, and/or the election rigging is why MAGA is in power.

Anonymous wrote:Actually, I just saw on IG from a historian that mocking dictators actually works. It’s been used in several countries successfully. The dictator can’t call out the mocking because he looks weak, but if he doesn’t call it out he looks weak.

So keep up the TACO.

I think mocking can be effective. I’m concerned, though, that “TACO” teasing might lead Trump to dig in his heels to prove that he’s not chickening out. That would not be in our best interest as a country. I hope people can find something else to mock him about.

Of course! Putin rigged the election for Blumpf.

Or, alternately, Americans are racist, sexist, ignorant pigs.

Democrats are great! Everyone else is a liar or sucks.

The Democrats had that. Unfortunately, many people got their “understanding” of what the Democratic Party platform included from Republicans. And, unfortunately, the Democrats were manipulated into spending time addressing that. And, yes, that’s crazy. Also unfortunately, elections have become more like popularity contests than policy debates — and the deliberately undereducated respond to that.

I’ll see if I can find links, but, prior to the election, there were studies that showed people favored Harris’s policies — when they were not attached to a candidate or a political party. That, I thought, was very telling.

Putin manipulated Americans into thinking Democrats were bad during the 2024 election cycle.

Putin manipulated Americans into believing Joe Biden’s debate performance was bad, too

Democrats are perfect. It’s just dumb voters, racists, and russians, ruining democrats.

PP @ 10:26 — I work with teachers and principals and kids and families in some very rough areas. It’s not “bullying” when it’s self-defense.

No they don't. Or sometimes you need something like the French Revolution to make them crumble.

Let's not kid ourselves. It will not be easy to stop him and he knows it.

I never said anything about “easy”.

I’m talking about what’s possible— although this is probably not the best forum for that. No, a strongly worded letter isn’t going to do much here. I have to admit, though, that I’ll be pleasantly surprised if scorn from the richest man in the world actually does manage to have real impact.

Funny thread. The point is that pages of debate about the precise meaning of "bully" isn't going to win elections. Most people, most of the time, act based on emotion, not thinking. Emotion wins elections. Save the rational adult behavior for the courts where it belongs.

TW, we also have a "bully pulpit".

And the brilliant plan by Gov Walz is to become just like Trump.

How did he and Kamala lose?

Walz started out so much better than Trump that I don’t think he’d ever be able to sink that low. He’s got a lot of raping and stealing and lying and cheating to do before he can really even get in the game.

Wonder if Walz bullies Gus?

Walz apparently thinks “bullying the shit” out of someone is a fantastic course of action.

I don’t. Walz is talking about how to handle “bullies” — which is clearly much-lived son is not.

Is that all you’ve got?
