Tim Walz Tells Democrats to 'Bully the S***' Out of Donald Trump

Walz, who was Harris' vice presidential running mate and a former public school teacher, spoke at Representative Jim Clyburn of South Carolina's Friday night fish fry and delivered a serious message to those in attendance, including many of his Democratic colleagues.

Walz spoke of "wannabe dictators and despots" and slammed Trump for "corruption" and "cruelty" in his second administration. He told those gathered that the Democratic Party needs to "change the attitude, compete in every district, compete for every school board seat."

"Maybe it's time for us to be a little meaner, maybe it's time for us to be a little more fierce because we have to ferociously push back on this," he said, to applause from the crowd.

"And again, I'll speak to my teacher colleagues in here. The thing that bothers a teacher more than anything is to watch a bully...and when it's a child you talk to him and you tell him why bullying's wrong, but when it's an adult like Donald Trump you bully the s*** out of him back," Walz said. "You push back, you make sure they know it's not there, because at heart—at heart, this is a weak, cruel man that takes it out and punches down on people."

I don’t think bullying Trump would work. He is the bully.

Wouldn’t democratic candidates want to present as a sane alternative to bullying?

I work with teachers. Teachers don’t instruct their students to bully bullies back. Principals don’t tell students to bully bullies back.

BULLIES always back down and MAGA and trump only understand bullying.

You simply cannot say that one is better than the other. In real life, a D and a F are both grades you don't want to get and it doesn't matter if you got the D. The point isn't to be satisfied or happy you got the D and not the F. You need to reject and disallow that entirely and work harder to get an acceptable outcome.

That Walz would suggest being a bully and getting mean is the right way to diminish Trump makes him just as bad if not worse because he should know better, seeing what the results Trump the bully has achieved. This is not about who is "successful" as much as about setting the path that will accomplish success

Do feel responsible for this nightmare? You should. The Democrats have their flaws but they respect Democracy.

I think so too.

Democrats are disgusted by Trump.

So, they should be like Trump?

Walz has a public persona, definitely, and the real Walz is ok with “bullying the shit” out of someone.

How about this: you go first, Tim. Show us how to bully the shit out of Trump.

Also: why didn’t Walz “bully” Trump when he was the vp candidate?

People keep insisting that mocking Trump hurts his ego.

Do you see a man with a hurt ego?

Seriously, he just won the presidency after being left for dead by everyone in the world.

How is his ego “hurt?”

We don't know. We make it up as we go along. It's soothing for us to spout BS.

Did you see how mad he was at the TACO question? Being made fun of sends him over the edge.

Mocking Trump just like he mocks everyone else is key, plus bullying him when you want. It's probably why he "respects" Putin and other dictators.

I'm from a family of narcissists, giving back as good as you get is the best way if you are not a kid.

Democrats should listen to Tim.

That’s the exact opposite way to handle narcs. They thrive off drama, discord, and constant conflict.

Gray rock works. You don’t react or interact with a narc. They lose interest and find someone else to continue to engage in their narc behavior with.

If you think fighting with narcs is the way to handle them…you might be a narc, too.

This. Like all bullies, he’s fragile.

PP @ 10:26 — I work with teachers and principals and kids and families in some very rough areas. It’s not “bullying” when it’s self-defense.

Students are not taught to bully bullies back. They are taught to tell a nearby adult they are being bullied.

Walz is really out there. Weird.

Ah yes, Trump is terminally fragile.

A regular shrinking violet, he is.

Jfc, have you been paying attention at all since 2016?

Of course, I think you see it, too. You just hate that your god king is a child that is prone to hurt feelings and tantrums. Every day he raging and lashing out, and they only let him see a fraction of the mockery.

I hope that there is some fun mockery planned for his little birfday parade.

Walz should lead the cause. He’s not gunning for the ticket. He’d be great in some other relevant capacity if picked by the next Dem president. He’s got a fire in his belly.

Hey everyone, this person needs attention. They’d like to draw the attention to fact that they called Walz weird. So much so that they did it again because no one paid attention to them.

Everyone point and laugh!

There, you got your attention.

You are probably a highly paid, highly influential DNC consultant.

It would explain the presidential election campaign and loss of 2024.

Thank you for agreeing. He’s a thin skinned little man. Besides, what else are you going to do, reason with him?

Lmao

Dear heart, we don’t see each other or hear each other. We are black letters on white screens.

If I need attention, I surely will get it from a better source than an anonymous mommy board.

You are exactly as you pretend Trump is: fragile and easily injured.
