NCAP and tyr

Once again, unless your kids is going to a Futures or higher championship meet, NO ONE cares! For those meets, the usually get a suit given to them. Chill.

This isn't a college-level image and likeness situation. If they're not going to literally kick you out of the club, wear what you want. And if you want a better answer, go to club management, not the coaches, who are likely just doing as they're told over this.

That’s what we figured, because that’s how it was with Speedo. Our kids go to NCSA, but that’s the biggest meet. We figured the Tyr mandate would only follow Gold (and maybe Silver) I. For planning purposes in case it’s true, can someone kindly suggest the Aquablade and Powerskin 2.0/Next Tyr-equivalents?

It was in the registration email. Reminder for 12 & Under athletes– our new team suit is called the TYR Durafast Elite.

Also, I don’t think the suit is an issue until you get to national meets (Futures, etc).

Durafast elite is not an Aquablade equivalent. It’s the kind of suit my daughter wore when she was 7.

Looks like the Aerofit might be the Aquablade equivalent.

Who gets a suit given to them for Futures? We sure haven’t!

Tyr has discontinued it

I just wrote to Tyr to ask the questions about U12 compliant suits like those offered by Speedo and Arena. I’ll update if I hear something back.
