Caught my husband at AMP

More exploitation, certain men get off on that

I used to go a a chain for a legitimate, deep-tissue massage and the few therapists they had who specialized in it did a great job. Then I went to our local AMP place, admittedly for the happy ending and scheduled a one-hour massage.

I was not expecting much of a massage but she was amazing and walked on my back also. The massage concluded with the HE experience which seemed almost clinical and honestly, is the perfect ending to a relaxing massage.

I walked out of there feeling great and very relaxed and returned a few times since then. Scheduling is MUCH easier than the legit place and, although I've gotten a different woman each time, I was always satisfied. With the massage and the extra.

And guess what, the price was the same if not a bit less than the legit place although they do expect a higher tip so in total, just a bit more. But not a lot.

As far as I know, the HE HJ is the only thing on the menu but I never asked for more. The HJ is just the perfect conclusion to the massage. It's all pretty tame really and shouldn't be illegal in my opinion or looked at as such a shady business.

You seem quite satisfied and content with what you've done. Would you feel the same way if your wife went to a similar place of "business" except it was hyper-masculine men and the HE was also a "HJ"?

Let’s not call it “Asian”, let’s say “fraudulent massage parlor” or brothel or human-trafficking sex center because that’s what it is

If that's what it is, call the police.

They are literally in every strip mall. I was coming home from a baseball game at 10pm the other night and the whole strip mall was closed except for the shady blinking OPEN sign in the nasty massage parlor.

What were you doing there?

You read that correctly. I am quite satisfied and content with it but you do not make a good comparison. Her getting digitally massaged to O would be a good comparison and not by hyper-masculine men, but run of the mill Asian men, sometimes older guys. That would be the comparison. Women are much more selective about who they let touch them so a similar business catering to women is pretty rare unless it's on a cruise ship or tropical location. But to answer your question, no I wouldn't want my wife to be serviced in this way if I was married. I'm glad I'm not married.

They are doing it willingly and making a lot of money. Not sure how you came to the conclusion that they are being exploited.

Not trafficking. Just trying to make some money the only way they can with low skills/language barrier.
Let them be!

To the pp who went to amp, how much did it cost? Suspect my dh went before covid. Regular amount of cash withdrawn every two weeks. No explanation provided. Can you give more details about prices and schedule etc?

That’s not why most men go.

Well, if she was giving him that massage at home, he wouldn’t need to go there.

np.. IDK.. I mean, we hear about how some men cheat even though their wives are beautiful and put out.

+1 I don't know if I would divorce over this, but I would definitely do the above, though I have almost always made about the same as DH (except for the 2 years that I took off after kids were born, but we had a joint account).

I think you both need counseling, and I would definitely become better positioned financially after this. Or at least, get a post nup such that if he ever does this again, you get the bulk of the assets.

The guys at work say that a visit to a full service AMP will run you about $200.

You don't know how willingly they are doing it. Maybe some are. But I used to live in a place where there really was a lot of human trafficking. Women in strip clubs and massage joints had their passports confiscated by the owners and they were essentially forced into prostitution. But if you met them at work they'd be friendly and smiling. You learn how to survive.

No, the only question should be, would PP feel the same way if the went to the parlor and he got a massage with HE from a man.
