I bring my dog wherever he's allowed. Get over it.

NP Maybe you should be more independent and a grown adult who doesn't need a fluffy crutch to be out in public or the big bad "scary world."

Grow up!

Why not complain to the business that allows it? (Unless she is passing it off as a service dog).

I’m not a fan of this either (the only indoor places I take my dog are the vet and the pet store)- but technically she is allowed.

This has been discussed at length before. No, she is not allowed.

So you are TA! They are not legally allowed, the business just chooses to ignore it. Stop being TA and leave your mangy dog at home.

+1 I don’t want to see your dog at Total Wine, Starbucks, Costco, Walmart, Safeway, or District Taco - all places where I have seen dogs indoors in the last year or so. My issue is that not all dogs are well-behaved and calm, and even dogs that are usually well-behaved at home or on walks can get over excited in a busy store. I also think it’s gross in food establishments.

My local wine store loves my dog and gives him treats when we visit. Shrug.

Jeez calm down. Some of us work long hours and would spend very little time with our dogs if we didn’t bring them with us to run some errands. Obviously there are places they can’t go so they stay home or in the car, but there are other places they’re allowed so they come along sometimes. People who have pets are generally happier and healthier than those who don’t.

right, euthanizing it or leaving it in an abusive situation is the correct answer for people who have jobs. 🙄 I’m not taking it to Target or even the coffee shop. CALM DOWN and accept humans are not the only living beings on the earth. Difficult concept, I know.

No, not the only ones. But definitely the most self-centered and selfish. You're exhibit #1. YOU brought the dog into an abusive situation. YOU leave your dog alone for hours while you do your job. Why do you think I should be burdened with your dog because of the choices YOU made?

If the coffee shop has outdoor seating its fine.

Some stores allow it. Some jobs allow it. Our dog goes into the office with one of us a few times a week - RTO sucks so no good options as we are aready spending a lot on the commute so no money for a dog walker/day care. Ours goes out to eat when the weather is nice/outdoors.

Its abusive to leave your dog home alone for many hours a day.

Do they use the driveway? We had a shared driveway growing up but the neighbors dominated it and never let us park in it. I'd shovel out our cars in front of our house but I wasn't doing the driveway.

"Leaving a mess on the toilet seat. Either sit down or clean up after yourself."

This! True a$$holey behavior.

I recently went to a store which had just been renovated including the restrooms. Beautiful new tile, sinks and toilets. Fresh and clean!

Ha! Until I went into a stall and saw some human pig literally sprayed urine all over the seat AND on the floor.

There were seat covers in the stall. There was plenty of paper in the stall, too. But this slob couldn't be bothered to use either of those to sit down, and instead peed all over and then left without wiping it up!

Second sign of TA is when people do use toilet paper to cover seats then let it fall on the floor and don't bother to pick it up (with another piece of paper) and flush it. You get two or three people who do this, then add in the feral-cat sprayer to make it all a sodden mess, and that's why restrooms look and smell so bad.

Is it really that hard to clean up after YOURSELF?!
