Have you reached out to the Wootton PTSA? They were notified of the principal being put on leave by MCPS officials.

Well I have a big issue if news about a principal being put on leave was only told to the PTSA of a school. The front office has no comment. This is so MCPS-coded. What an absolute mess

The Northwood letter came from Aricka Porter. I would think she would send a letter to Wotton families too.

Northwood letter says they will work with Dr. Garrick to find an acting assistant principal (not principal). I think it is implied Garrick is back at Northwood although they should have been clearer on that.

The PTA and MCCPTA are literally written into MCPS policies as being the official voice and conduit for parent feedback and notifications. If you don't like it, take it up with MCPS.

But by virtue of telling PTSA leadership, I believe MCPS feels they fulfilled their part of notifying "the parent community."

I'm not a paying member of my school PTA. That makes me not entitled to be notified about changes in staffing at my school?

I misread that part. Thanks for clarifying. At least having Dr. Garrick back will be good even though losing Dr. Bostic is a big loss.

Ick who are you?!? The PTA is not in charge of official notices about principal changes and it is certainly not their job to send out school wide notifications ahead of administration.
