MoCo Show is reporting principal placed on leave anfter something racist was written on a desk, and also that a sub used the N word. I can’t figure out how the three are connected

But basically Wootton students are unable to check their privilege and have been causing problems by singling people of color for harassment, Jewish people for harassment, and gay people for harassment.

But it’s a W school so therefore it’s great.

There’s been a series of anti-Black incidents at Wootton that the principal, Doug Nelson, has not reported and failed to act on. There is an anti-Black culture that has been allowed to fester his leadership.

That’s how they’re connected.

Listen this has nothing to do with a W school. Hate incidents are going on at every single school. Some get reported and many do not.

From what I heard the sub was explaining the incident from a few days prior (someone found the word on a desk) and said the word out loud instead of saying “the N word.” So stupid but not meant as hate and no reason a principal should be put on leave. The sub should be fired though. How dumb can you be

What I can’t figure out is why MCPS can’t get their letters to me about this stuff. I get all of the school notices but not Moran’s and I have to read about this here and on the news, so infuriating.

as a parent I heard about one incident with a printer in the beginning of the school year. Then the desk incident last week. both addressed in letters from the principal. they postponed the pep rally for a talk instead. they had crisis counselors there today.

have not heard of anything else including the sub teacher incident or the principal being on leave.
