MCPS is mad that a kid being a brat, which per MCPs policy cannot be disciplined, was not reported to CO so that a money-wasting, time-wasting, distracting pity party could be performed.

Wouldn’t a vice principal or someone in administration let the community know the principal is on leave?

How is this the PTA’s issue. They are a bunch of volunteer parents. Why would they be the only ones informed.

Well I have a big issue if news about a principal being put on leave was only told to the PTSA of a school. The front office has no comment. This is so MCPS-coded. What an absolute mess

The PTA and MCCPTA are literally written into MCPS policies as being the official voice and conduit for parent feedback and notifications. If you don't like it, take it up with MCPS.

But by virtue of telling PTSA leadership, I believe MCPS feels they fulfilled their part of notifying "the parent community."
