Not you again 🙄🙄🙄. |
too funny |
I have plenty of family and friends who are below "middle class". Of course they have a car, if they want one. Some choose the bus. Most have a car. |
What the hell are you talking about? The suburbs - those places farthest from the city - are overwhelmingly white while the neighborhoods closest to the city are much less white. The argument that catering to suburban commuters helps people of color is very strange, particularly when most people killed crashes in this city are people of color. |
Creating rules that drivers won't respect makes everyone less safe. |
I will take drivers over annoying, entitled, rude bikers and day of the week. I take the metro BTW and do not drive to work. Bikes and scooters on sidewalks are the worst!!!! |
And people are killed or injured more often in Black neighborhoods than White ones. Should the “fees and fines system” side with the Black folk getting the fees and fines or the Black folk getting killed and injured by the folk getting the fees and fines? |
Do you even live here? DC is not like other cities. The city is whiter, richer and less diverse than the suburbs. |
Totally! Which is why the city needs many more bike lanes! |
Hard to see how "traffic calming" is making any difference |
I do. Do you? Here’s a map with some colors on it to allow you to familiarize yourself with where rich people live in the Washington area: https://ggwash.org/view/72678/map-show-where-the-wealth-washington-region-so-too-is-the-exclusion |
New thread. Same stupid debunked garbage arguments. |
If bikers will actually use them. |
I think you need to step out of ward 3 occasionally. |
Not this shit again . . . For the umpteenth time, unless you believe that crashes always have a single cause - or don’t care because you believe your point matters more than truth - these numbers (whoever compiled them) are absolutely meaningless. |
