I think Madison can beat Hayfield.

Coaching - Even
Speed - Hayfield

I give Hayfield the edge simple because I don’t think Madison can get enough stops. Overton jr is a nightmare once he gets past the 2nd level for DBs to tackle.

Coaching is even? Please. Madison's staff is legit. Overton gets exposed in every game he coaches against quality opponents when his (illegally recruited) athletes arent INSANELY more talented/bigger/stronger/faster than those lining up against their opponents.

Isn’t this the same Overton that smashed Madison 48-14 in state finals. Regardless of whether you like it or not Overton is the best coach in NoVa. He’s ran thru pretty much everyone at some point either in playoffs with Freedom or even hayfield this year.

Pretty much, but all type of haters got together and stopped him from winning states this year. Since he took the job in Fairfax County, the hate from coaches and parents at schools he’s been whipping on has been unprecedented.

Why didn't he just stay at Freedom? Why move?

Hayfield made him head of security, which pays a lot more than coaching football.

Nah, because Freedom/PWC got sick of him breaking the law and told him he wasn't going to get his contract re-upped.

Head of Security pays a whopping 60K a year. If he jumped for that, he is more pathetic than most thought.

It is VA public school football. Who cares other than those parent's who couldn't get their kid into a WCAC school?

Not all parents dream of their kids playing for a WCAC or IAC or other powerhouse private school league that recruits. Some families still value the uneven organic teams of community schools.

None of Chantilly has ever been incorporated. The old village of Chantilly was both in Fairfax and Loudoun. In around the 60’s, subdivisions were being built up on the Fairfax side and the 90’s on the Loudoun side.

Well Madison was able to avoid Hayfield with all bs. They should get past Lake Braddock, but the Colonial Forge/Oscar Smith winner is going to be a chore.
