Hi Don Jr.

| It’s easy to vote Trump in protest in a Harris +70 jurisdiction. I would assume it’s a consequence-free expression of displeasure. |
Yeah, but were they Independents or "Independents?" You know, Democrats. |
That's right! You tell that boy to git now! |
That's been my observation for a while now as well. I'd clarify that Republicans means sane ones and MAGAs, and Democrats means sane ones and not nutty progressives. |
*not MAGAs |
The crime problem started during Trump's administration and will inevitably get worse under his second administration because he is a total idiot and a complete garbage person. |
|
BALDERDASH!
There is not a single MAGA voter in DC. Not one. I mean, there was one, but he moved out last year. |
Two words: Charles. Allen. |
Yes, because at least two of the five citywide Council seats (chair and four at-large) must be filled from outside the city's majority political party (Dems), per the Home Rule charter. So you have some who are forced to run as Independents even though they are stalwarts of the Democratic (Silverman, Henderson, etc) or Republican parties (Catania). You need to try harder. Do your research before you post. |
| There have always been Republicans and conservatives in DC, just not enough to make a splash. |
While I agree with your views on Trump, it's pretty clear the crime wave a few years ago in DC and other major cities was largely due to policy failures on the left, not due due to Trump's policies. Once could argue Trump amplified the craziness from the Left at that time, but that's about it. |
| Carjackings and robberies went up when the COVID 19 lockdowns happened. You can blame Democratic leadership all you want, but DC has had D leadership for several decades, so it doesn't seem likely that they caused this. The factor that changed was society during COVID. |
Charles Allen has performed thousands of surgeries. What have you ever done? |
