Hill East
Not Spring Valley. Not Navy Yard. Not the Jan 6th prison pop (we checked). Another Charles Allen gift to DC? 22% of Hill East Dems were pissedd off enough to vote for Trump. |

A great read! Hill East Spring Valley Capitol Hill Wow. This is a massive spite vote to the DC Council |
| If you voted for Trump or think you know why these neighbors did, please share |
| Why? I’d like to know |
| This would be great for an Independent to run for city council if ranked choice voting is implemented. |
Are you new here? Independents can run and have already won seats on the Council. Many times. |
| Hahaha! |
| Denise Krepp's anticrime crusade. Also cheaper real estate and group housing for House staff. |
| Wouldn’t House staff vote in their home states? |
Not if they live here and aren't residents of another state. |
Except that most (all?) of them are just Democrats who didn't make it through the primary. |
| There are more big Trumpers who live in DC than you may think, even in “liberal” bastions like Cleveland Park. |
Not the prison pop but the J6 families who move here to be near them. |
|
Nope. People sick of crime in DC.
Black men — they interviewed them on TV |
| Crime, crime, crime. I live in this neighborhood and its all people talk about. Did you see the pictures of a kid pointing a gun at a lady who was carjacked in the Safeway parking lot? No one I know voted for Trump (or at least admitted it) but since the election I have heard people question whether a Trump presidency may have a silver lining of improving the crime situation. |
