Puerto Rico

I'm pretty sure that "all" Puerto Ricans didn't move here, just as "all Europeans" didn't move here.

And that's not even a proper comparison, given PR is a U.S. territory.

All is a bit of an exaggeration but nearly 2/3rds of all Puerto Ricans live stateside. Obviously a lot of them don't think highly of the island.

It would be as if 300+ million Europeans up and moved here in a few generations leaving only a skeleton crew behind. Then being defensive about their abandoned homelands.

Bad Bunny backs Kamala? Really?? Who saw that coming?!?

The funny thing is he probably backed Trump until he heard about the joke at MSG.

Puerto Rico is here. They have American citizenship. Did you not know that? That means that all the millions of Americans with Puerto Rican heritage who live in the continental United States get to vote in Presidential elections in the state in which they live.

There are a million in Florida.
Half a million in Pennsylvania.
Quite a few in Wisconsin.

And you all just called them a floating patch of garbage.

Gosh he called the island a floating garbage which it literally is. He did not call the people garbage.

Bad Bunny’s recent endorsement of Kamala Harris isn’t really a surprise if you’ve followed his history. He’s been anti Trump for years, especially after Hurricane Maria, when he criticized Trump’s handling of Puerto Rican disaster relief. Back then, he wore a shirt that said, "Are you a tweeter or a president?" to make his stance clear. He’s also dropped lyrics taking aim at Trump and has used his platform to talk about issues Puerto Ricans face, like government corruption and failing infrastructure

This recent endorsement is a political stunt because it came right after a Trump rally comedian joke that mocked Puerto Rican's garbage problem which is well documented, its funny that the liberal media doesn't explain that puerto rico has a garbage crisis. But honestly, Bad Bunny’s been openly anti-Trump and pro-social justice long before this, so it’s less about a sudden shift and more like Harris’s team trying to cash in on the visibility he brings to her campaign

No, it is a great move. Marc Anthony also endorsed Kamala Harris. He has a larger platform and international following more than Bad Bunny. Lin Manuel Miranda, another Puerto Rican is endorsing Kamala Harris as well. Puerto Ricans will not forget how Trump disparaged and demeaned them.

You think people moved because they hate the island? No. They moved for opportunity. My mother moved after graduating because Montgomery Country at that time recruited good students and gave financial support to get master and doctoral degrees in education. She misses her home, and we have relatives who will never leave.

I honestly wish non-Puerto Ricans would keep their mouths shut forever. Even a ‘liberal supporter’ gleefully repeated the slurs from Trump’s rally because I slammed her vicious worthless self for attacking me, because I dared point out that the problems on the island have always, always, been made worse by US policy towards Puerto Rico. It’s frustrating as hell.

He’s criticized Trump publicly in the past.

Hollywood people support Deomocrats. Any democratic candidate. This isn’t specific to Harris nor is it unexpected or shocking in any way.

Add to those Puerto Ricans, the people who love them, who will, hopefully, vote for Harris as well.

Yup. Poster with the mom who moved from the island to Montgomery County as part of a recruitment program - she was a very desirable hire and had decades of public service, and I’m very proud of her. I’m also proud of my cousins and uncle who live in Florida, and I think that the MSG crowd won’t like their political views or how they vote…

Yeah - Puerto Rico’s population overwhelmingly hates Jewish people:

This was hardly the first blatantly antisemitic incident.

We all know the hate Puerto Ricans feel toward the Jewish community of the world.

You’re so insane. Good lord.
