Harris "closing argument" speech next Tuesday on the mall

Bonus points if they quote Martin Luther King.

Oh I don't know - the last candidate that made a speech there incited a mob to attack the Capitol so this might be a good way to redeem the space.

Meanwhile Trump will probably hit three or four swing states that day.

She’s given up and this proves it.

See, MAGA can't even understand simple things. Their brains are just richocheting very short sound bites. This is why they are unreachable by people in the reality based community.

If reality means Harris is so great then I’d rather be in la la land.

Move on from 1/6!!!!!

Most of the country does not care!

It’s not even a top issue.

Most people in battleground states care about crime, inflation, border, jobs and energy costs!

She has been talking about how bad Trump is, 1/6 and her polls keep slipping! Talk about positive stuff. Plans for future. Legislation! This will cost her the election. Most voters do not care!

It’s not listed in the top 10!

Inflation and prices number 1
Immigration number 2.

So the more she talks about 1/6, the less the voters seem to care about it. Focus o. The top 2

1/6 was an attempted coup on the United States by a losing POTUS.

Get out of here with that crap.

Do none of you watch the news? She's doing teh same "closing argument" in all the swing states too. She's going everywhere: GA, NC, Wisconsin, Mich, PA and even just announced she's going to rally with Collin Allred in TX.

She's going everywhere. It's all part of her "closing argument".

DC one just has it's own thread because this is the DMV and we all live here and can attend.

She can use the footage to juxtapose Trump's final speech. Joyful crowds vs. Jan 6 riots.

And unless she has thousands and thousands in attendance, it’s going to look “empty” on video.

It won't be empty.

Outside the DC bubble, people care
Much more about buying food and paying for heat. They blame Harris for these issues. 1/6 does not even register for most of these voters, who are struggling..

What happened to her “Joy” campaign. It’s all doom and gloom now. So depressing.

True inside of the DC beltway too, but no one cares to admit it.

I love it Democrats are wasting all their energy on this topic!!!!! Go go go. Let’s ignore than major issues people care about that will move the needle. Sure, people care about 1/6. But it’s like item 7-10 down on their list?

I don’t see any voting because 1/6 and ignoring other issues like inflation, crime, illegal immigration, energy costs, global conflicts…

This is like Hillary in 2016 warning about the alt-right.

Good plan. Can’t wait for the comparisons to MLK’s I have a dream speech.

For those planning to go, will this be open to public or will we need to secure some sort of ticket through the campaign? It sounds like it will be a prime-time 8pm event from what I've read. If this is open to the public, I'm definitely going!
