I have mixed feelings about this plan. It feels like a "big swing" that could miss. I think I'd prefer a safer play like a swing state.

On the other hand I do think I'd try to take the day off and take my DD to see it if I could. And I hate crowds. But I'd like my DD to see Harris making this argument on that stage no matter what the outcome of the election is.

She shouldn’t do a political speech as a candidate running for office on the national mall. Just a bad idea with really bad optics in terms of how our national parks and resources should be used for partisan purposes.

There will be parents with children on their shoulders and they will have tears in their eye and know they were a part of history.”
