Some stage parents protect their kids but many are complicit because it's their dream for the kids to be stars. Read Jeanette McCurdy's book. I think she's probably like a lot of stage mothers.

He didn't groom her into marriage. She was in a relationship with McCauley Caulkin for 8 years from 2002 -2010. She started dating Kutcher in 2012 when she was 30.
