Husband is very left. I am MAGA. he has a Harris sign on our lawn. Fine with me - he has every right to put it there. Would not dream of telling him how to vote

I find this very hard to believe.
sorry to hear that. It’s true. Been married 30 years

So, MINO (marriage in name or number only)??

We don’t have to agree on politics. My husband and I are not the same person and respect that about each other.

Same, except in reverse. I am a moderate Republican and DH is MAGA. Married 28+ years...it's called compromise and agree to disagree.

I’m the PP - agree. Glad there are other mature people out there.

It’s great! Our kids are thriving, we are progressing in our careers, and more in love than ever. We agree on many issues and agree to disagree on others.

-Dem DH and Rep DW

DH’s side of the extended family is very vocally R- some can be very obnoxious and it has always been annoying. But everyone tolerates each other. I suspect some of the married-ins may be D but they keep quiet. My side is the extended family is very mixed and everyone behaves & gets along at family gatherings.

Our friends are very mixed and politics has not been an issue.

We have 3 teens who are not yet of voting age. Will support the family relationships over any political views, whatever they choose.

Some of you guys are crazy. Family is more important than politics. I do hide some people on social media but aside from that: family first.

Thank you for the most common sense post on this thread. And some of the Dems citing violence if a family member votes for Trump - wow, just wow. Just another reason why I will never become a Dem.

Most who married a Republican decades ago probably didn't marry a MaGA.

So much for being part of the tolerant group!

I can’t believe there are people like you staining the left!
