| Do your family members living in same home have different political ideology? How is it going this election season? |
| I would divorce my husband or disown either of my children if they ever voted for a republican. I would probably even resort to violence against them. |
| My husband are both caring and ethical people, so, of course, we are both registered Democrats. |

I bet Trump has ruined as many families as the civil war did. Every white friend I have with at least 4 total siblings (and many with just 3) has estrangement over Trump. My Trumpster brother cut us off years ago because he can literally not stop talking politics, and when we enforced boundaries he got angry.
DH and I would have divorced each other if one of us voted for Trump. |
| I can confidently say I’d literally murder my H if he was a trumper. No joke. I really would kill him. For embarrassing me. |
| One side talking political violence hmmm. |
| Dem and Dem. And in 2028 our teenager will be voting Dem. |
How do you know how he votes when he enters that ballot screen/box? Unless he completes his ballot at home and you see what he fills out, how do you really know he won't vote for for T or another candidate other than Harris? Didn't many overestimate in '16? |
I'm a man, and I have not spent the last nine years pretending to be anti-Trump...I am seriously anti-Trump. |

We are a double moderate family. For over 30 years, I was a registered Republican with moderate values. My spouse is a registered Democrat with moderate values. Our values were fairly similar. We were both socially liberal and fiscally conservative, but we chose different parties, probably because I great up in a conservative immigrant family in a conservative area and my spouse grew up in a liberal family in a liberal area.
In 2020, just before the election, I had had enough of the Republican party. I am a typical RINO to them. But I believe that I belonged to the true Republican party and that the Tea Party, Freedom Caucus and finally Trump's MAGA have truly corrupted and staged a coup and stolen the Republican party. They are the RINOs. So, just before the 2020 election, I changed my registration to Independent. But our household is fine because we still hold the same values we always did. |

My husband (white, native born) and I (black immigrant) were Democrats, but I’ve grown
disillusioned with the party for a host of reasons. I’m voting for Trump, and while DH is slightly leaning Harris, I’ve been wearing him down from where he was, which was strongly pro-Dem until recently. It helps that DH is less political than I am, so he doesn’t feel as strongly on the issues. I couldn’t get along with someone on the opposite end of the spectrum who lives and breathes politics the way I do. |
LoL 😆 |

We are all Dems.
DH hates Trump. HATES!!! He initially thought Trump might do a good job in 2016, but was shocked how selfish, vain, crass and corrupt Trump is. DS initially liked Trump in 2016. But then he saw him make fun of that disabled reporter. That turned him away from Trump for good. |
I'm the moderate RINO. I think this type of attitude is just as destructive as the MAGA/Freedom Caucus attitude. There are plenty of caring and ethical people that are Republican. Just not the MAGA or Freedom Caucus ones. I think that John McCain, Colin Powell, Ann Richards, Ronald Regan, and many more were and are caring and ethical people. Most of the caring and ethical republicans have been chased out of the party. There are also quite a few registered Democrats that are NOT caring and ethical people. I don't think that Bob Menendez, Catherine Pugh (former Baltimore mayor), Jack Johnson (former PG County Executive), Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and many others are unethical and/or uncaring Democrats. While there are more Republicans that fit your description, there are no shortage of Democrats that also fit the bill. So, while good people have a moral high ground, neither of our political parties really do. |
