How do you know how he votes when he enters that ballot screen/box? Unless he completes his ballot at home and you see what he fills out, how do you really know he won't vote for for T or another candidate other than Harris? Didn't many overestimate in '16?

You don’t know. Believe me

Husband is very left. I am MAGA. he has a Harris sign on our lawn. Fine with me - he has every right to put it there. Would not dream of telling him how to vote

I find this very hard to believe.

I'm the moderate RINO. I think this type of attitude is just as destructive as the MAGA/Freedom Caucus attitude. There are plenty of caring and ethical people that are Republican. Just not the MAGA or Freedom Caucus ones. I think that John McCain, Colin Powell, Ann Richards, Ronald Regan, and many more were and are caring and ethical people. Most of the caring and ethical republicans have been chased out of the party.

There are also quite a few registered Democrats that are NOT caring and ethical people. I don't think that Bob Menendez, Catherine Pugh (former Baltimore mayor), Jack Johnson (former PG County Executive), Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and many others are unethical and/or uncaring Democrats.

While there are more Republicans that fit your description, there are no shortage of Democrats that also fit the bill. So, while good people have a moral high ground, neither of our political parties really do.

I was being flippant because i am so sick and tired of Trump and his followers and, let's face it, they are the Republican party now. I actually agree with you on much of what you wrote. My beloved grandmother and my aunt, my godmother, would be considered RINOs.

But these days it is getting harder to be charitable or to try to be bipartisan, because Trump has decimated the GOP and there is just so much lying and hate-mongering. My aunt is basically an independent now and I think my grandmother would have gone independent at this point if she were still alive.

Okay. I understand and sympathize. But, unfortunately, on the Internet, it's very hard to hear tone. The vast majority of our friends are moderate to extreme liberals, so I've actually heard the same sentiments, that were intended seriously.

Very stable, mature reaction, must have had a good time in the summer of 2020.

Worst is having to meet those family members over holidays. Next big one will be after elections, so...ugh.

Same, except in reverse. I am a moderate Republican and DH is MAGA. Married 28+ years...it's called compromise and agree to disagree.
