My kids in APS do swimming field trips to Yorktown and have to change in the locker room. The teachers specifically solicit parents of both genders referencing the need for adults to monitor locker rooms.

I’m a pretty laid back parent about a lot of things (I’ve always been open about talking with my kids about the basics of sex, consent, gay marriage, respecting pronouns, etc. but I hope there is never a day that my response to 9 year olds witnessing other minors have sex in a school locker room is “meh.”

Well I would not want some unknown father to be “chaperoning” my perfectly capable 9 year old changing out of his swimsuit. No. I’d rather the teacher did a check of the Locker room to make sure no teenagers were making out or having sex in the showers and then I’d like them to change in privacy. Not under the watchful eye of Brayden’s father.

I work in a different school system as a HS PE teacher and I'm skeptical. Students having gay 4somes in the middle of the morning in the school locker room? Do you realize how homophobic so many kids still are? Also, when are the showers/locker rooms not supervised at some level ESPECIALLY DURING the school day? Students aren't just leaving their regular classes to come hang out in the locker room for sex.

My actual problem is sex in the bathroom. I don't care if it is homosexual, heterosexual or pansexual. For one, how do high schoolers have enough free time during the day to get it on? Unsupervised, not caring who is coming and going? Are we sure there were no adults involved? What else goes on in that bathroom? Freaking pedophiles not worried at all about this.

10 or even 5 years ago NO parent would feel the need to apologize for not wanting their elementary age child to walk in on a gay orgy. Now we are supposed to be fine with it and equate it to a kid walking in on their parents having sex. Same thing. I think you are not parents and are trying to get actual parents to fall in line out of fear of being labeled. You are vile.

Well, to be fair, I doubt this happened quite like this at all. 4 male students having group sex at like, 1030am in the school locker room on a school day with people coming and going and 8-9 year olds changing a few feet away? I don’t doubt that the kids witnessed something sexual but it seems …. unlikely. Especially considering only one of the kids claimed it was 4 people there. The other kid said it was 2. Which seems more believable.

Just reread the article. So the students claimed they saw teenage students “backsides”, possibly their genitals, and possibly engaging in “lewd acts”. One student says it was 4 males having group sex- the student of the mom interviewed. We will see.
