I created that list. I just clipped this from Nextdoor:

Hello Nextdoor I am looking for help I recently started this full time job a week ago I am trying to support my mother who is disabled i don’t have a car so transportation is difficult and we’ve been living in various motels and money goes fast for food when living in these circumstances I can hold us for a while when I get paid but we are stuck for the next few days

On one of the Facebook neighborhood dog poop posts, not Nextdoor, I posted that the poop was actually mine. I said I was out for my morning jog and, as often happens, nature called and I couldn't wait to get home so I dropped a deuce in her driveway. I apologized for that most recent time and all the previous times she she also mentioned and offered to come by in the evening and clean it up.

OMG, that lady went OFF on me. It was a few years ago so I'm not sure I can still find the post but I'll paste it if I do. I've taken credit for poop a few times but I don't think anyone believed me. She did and buy was she angry.

Nextdoor died after covid.

You can't even ask for home recommendations anymore. You get a bunch of random dudes saying "me, I'll do it. "Call me" "I know a guy, he's my brother."

A variation of this ad, begging for money is posted nearly every week. Usually the story is a little sadder. Living in a motel room is common. As is, no car. I had a guy who wanted some nice furniture I was giving away and asked if I could deliver it as he had no car. He also asked if anyone had a microwave or coffee maker to donate to him and it turns out I do. But he lectured me when I told him he can't expect people to deliver donated items to his home. Alas, he has no car. I hope he at least has some coffee beans.
