What unusual/atypical service/perk has your kids had from their college?

Not a velodrome. It's outdoors. And not banked. The school refers to it as the bike track. Each year, the residences compete against each other in a big annual race. But what's remarkable is that these aren't student bikes. But real specialized racing bicycles that the students can use for training.

I thought it was cool. It's a completely different riding experience. And kind of a neat thing to have such high level gear available for students. My DC really took to it.

I'd love that - a safe place to ride hard on a racing bike and not need to worry about cars on the road or others on multipurpose trails.

honestly these perks are meaningless if the cost is sky high. getting pennies on the dollar if you receive free food after paying 80k plus a year

at least two other top colleges mentioned this on our tours. Williams plus more..we did not look at oberlin. cool but not unique.
