Ours has this for everyone on FA. So, not rolled into intuition, but is rolled into aid.

Free laundry for all.

Accommodations offers app that records/transcribes lectures (for those who require that via intake eval). I thought that was cool.

Amazing speakers. My kid loved meeting Lisa Ann Walter last year. They connected over being being in the same sport at Blair, just decades apart!

Student created app that alerts when and where free food events are.

That’s not unusual. Many colleges do that now—means less maintenance to deal with machines and payment system not working.

Don’t kid yourself—it’s built into the room and board costs

As a lover of art, this bugs me. Art belongs to all of us and is precious. Should not be in a personal dorm room. Just my view. I saw this on a college flyer and it turned me off to that college.

My DS' private college has free laundry and mini-fridges/microwaves in every dorm room. At Thanksgiving, winter break and spring break, students can apply for financial assistance in traveling home. My DS is local so we've never looked into how it works - I'm not sure if it covers 100% of the costs or a portion. From their website: "All students are welcome to apply, and special consideration will be given to those with a demonstrable financial need."

My kid's college provides limited free summer storage for students with financial need who live a certain distance+ from the college.

One of my kids is at a SLAC that offers storage for all students. No bulky things like furniture, but bags, boxes, and bikes are OK. Students pay per item—I think it’s been $50-$100 depending on the amount each year.

(Meant to say my kid paid a total of $50-$100 for summer storage each year.)

OP if you can get your net income low enough to qualify you can send your kid to Berea. But they make the kids do work study to help pay for all that goodness.

Scholarships for alums to use in grad school. Stipend to defray costs of unpaid summer internships. Rock climbing walls on campus. Indoor lazy river. These are not all the same school.
