This is me - I do like clothes and try to be a little fashionable but it is pretty much a guarantee that as soon as I get a new pair of jeans, that style is OVER

Me too! I must have been the last convert when skinny jeans came around the first time and apparently my internet search for straight legs last week helped tip it back again. Have I lost some years again or has this seemed like a quick turnaround?

This one was quicker than most.

Whatever. I like all types of jeans and will continue wearing them all.

Gen Z fits have range.

Straight, slim, and bootcut for me. Never again will I do skinny. SO incredibly uncomfortable and unflattering.

It’s how you style them that determines if they’re fashionable or not and all of you who never let yours go the first time are probably still styling them with waterfall cardigans and booties like it’s 2015.

This.

Sorry... but I don't think they look that good on anyone

How should you style them now? I used to wear with booties admittedly

I wear them with rothys or other flats or low profile sneakers. And taller boots, or course. I will sometimes wear with booties but it's a balance to make sure you don't have clown shoes on.

Skinnies + pointy flats forever.

You always could have worn them.

Just don't style them like an influencer circa 2005

I would trade the booties for ballet flats or sneakers; pair the jeans with an oversized blazer or trench-style coat/jacket over a button-down or basic t-shirt.

I wear them with Chelsea boots and a sweater, what year is that from

I've tried different styles over the years but always keep coming back to boot cuts. While they haven't been "in" in awhile, I feel like they're never really out, either, because it's a flattering style on so many women.

I am pear shaped and look ridiculous in skinny jeans. I hated that whole Han Solo vest/skinny jeans/tall boots phase. And the Christian Girl Autumn phase with the waterfall cardigans and floppy hats and infinity scarves wasn't any better.
